COVER ME IN HONEYSUCKLE MEMORIES / open, surprise - Margaery - 05-29-2018

It was funny, it felt like just yesterday that Margaery was lamenting to herself about how awful pregnancy was. Prone to bouts of irritability and especial beastliness, she was not pleasant to be around nor did she enjoy the bloating, the discomfort, and of course, the constant need for blood as the little leeches sucked the life out of her. Being pregnant as a vampire was an awful, awful experience. In retrospect, perhaps her wife should have carried the children. It would minimize the risk of them popping out as little bloodthirsty beasts and also save Margaery the trouble of simultaneously wanting to die or wanting to kill someone all the time. But Suiteheart had had the last litter and it was only fair that Margaery metaphorically take one for the team.

Sigh.

[color=#b14767]"I prefer ready made children," She commented idly to herself, lips twisting into a frown. She was supposed to be happy, hell, deep down she was happy, but she already felt nauseous and terrible and mustering any sort of joy right now was hard. She did it anyways though, forcing one of her charming smiles to light up her features as she dragged herself into the Observatory. Suiteheart would be around soon enough and then, they'd make the announcement together. Until then, she could only draw as much attention to herself as possible.

[color=#b14767]"I have an announcement to make!"

Her voice trembled and for a moment, stormy eyes flashed copper. She had fed once today... she was not doing it again. But did she have any choice? She loved her unborn children, really she did, but did they have to be such leeches?

Had she been outside, the roses that would grow around her paws would be a dark, dark crimson color to match her already developing irritation. She was ready to get this over with.

Her pregnancy of their last litter was easy: she experienced no sickness and was rarely as hormonal as most. She knew Margaery had not enjoyed the first time she was pregnant, but she would not allow Suite to bear this burden for whatever reason. Margaery had insisted. Suite had ideas, thoughts, as to why her wife wanted to carry their children instead of the other way around. After everything that had happened with Margy's first litter, Suite believed this was her wife's way of making up for it.

The Cosmic General was excited though. She knew, deep down, Margy was too. The only issue either of them could find with this was the fact that Margaery might pass off her vampirism, but as it had not happened the first time, Suite wanted to believe it would not happen the second time.

The white feline stepped forward, a smile on her maw. She came to a halt at Margaery's left side, gently pressing into her and intertwining their tails. 'This will be good, you'll see. Just relax, babe,' she thought, sending the message through their bond as she offered her wife a reassuring look. Everything would be fine. It always was, in the end.

"I'm excited," she purred. "Jacky would've been so happy..." Her happy expression faltered and was replaced by a bittersweet look. Her chest ached for her young son, but she tried not be be sad. No, this was a good moment. Finally, she managed to say, "I'm happy." And her smile had once again returned.

Luna had started to feel the illness from being pregnant. For the last few days, the female had stumbled around the Observatory, keeping away from the borders. If she was attacked, her unborn kits would be at risk.

Lunafreya had been slightly groggy for the whole morning, but she felt like a walk might possibly rid of her symptoms. Noticing Suiteheart & Margaery sitting around, the white-serval had approached and took a seat down.

★  WHEN MY HEART IS MADE FROM GOLD AND FORGIVENESS SEEMS TOO BOLD
Hazel was tired; tired and at a loss in her own brain from the stupid energy shift she couldn't explain or get at. After her outburst at Bastille, she was still itching to run into him, to see what he had to say and see if she could actually reach up and punch him in the jaw for whatever came out of his mouth. At the same time, she never wanted to look him in the eyes again, because he definitely seemed like the type to hold a grudge, and the things she had said weren't exactly nice.

The girl's ears pricked at the sound of Margaery calling everyone for a personal announcement, and Hazel followed suit with easy curiosity. Anything that had to do with Suite and/or Margy had Hazel's immediate attention. When she found them, she also found an air of softness about them. The tension seeped from her shoulders, the concern of potential danger melting a bit as she approached the two. Admittedly, she was not as informed as others, and while she was familiar with sex ed, couldn't quite figure out what was going on here. Taking a seat, she tilted her head, smiling softly at the couple.

"What's up, Margy?" Hazel asked.

Oh I'm relaxed... just not thrilled. No worries though, darling, I can promise you that, Margaery responded through their bond, silently flashing her wife a tiny smile. The prospect of new children was exciting and deep down, she truly could not wait to introduce them to this world. She just needed to get through all the awful parts - the moodiness, the crankiness, the general hunger threatening to consume her even now - first. Easy, right? Well, no, but she really didn't have much choice in whether or not she dealt with all that. It sort of came with the whole pregnancy thing.

Dismissing her thoughts, she'd fixate her attention back to the task at hand. While only two people had arrived besides Suite, Margaery figured that she'd announce her news regardless. Anyone else who came along after the fact would skip the whole "building suspense" part. [color=#b14767]"I'm pregnant," She said in a falsely bright voice that did not at all reflect the genuinely cheery smile that danced upon her lips, [color=#b14767]"Surprise! We can't wait for you to meet the little leeches." She playfully bumped Suiteheart at that, though some sort of ghostly doubt danced in her eyes. Her and pregnancy didn't quite mix and she knew full and well that these kittens could prove to be dangerous to her and her body. But she refused to reveal that to anyone, even Suite, and made sure the knowledge was locked tightly in her mind where even her wife wouldn't be able to access it.

[color=#b14767]"We just wanted to let you all know."
