It had become clear to Kydobi that like his suffering, his life would never end. No matter how vicious and traumatic the death was, he would be reborn and flooded with memories. Violent and sudden, it seems he would always be cursed. Forced to continue on, even severe neglect could not kill him. Some might find immortality a blessing but not when it was like this. He had been birthed from the earth, yes. But this last time was incredibly different. Incredibly.

The man had been reborn as a cub, he had to find his way through life. Relearn his body, train it all over again. It was one of the most frustrating experiences in his life. But now he would coast through life half-heartedly. Wishing to die but knowing he would never be allowed to. He could only wait for the time death would briefly hold him in its silent embrace. Death seemed to be his only lover that would keep coming back, but like all his ones before... it would not keep him forever. There was no telling how long he had been gone this time but it had to have been years for that body of a cub was now strong and mature. He looked like his old self. Not that it mattered.

Now, why did he come here? The Pitt always had a pull on his soul, and deep down the jaguar feared he really had died. That this was some sort of hell to pay for the things he had allowed to happen under Jervis. He was a ghost, mourning and sorrowful. Who was in charge now? Was it still the man who murdered him? Silentgrave. Ky had trusted them.

What about Piers? All his other children. What became of them? Just how long had been gone. A deep rumbling wail would echo out of his chest. His children. Did they think their father just abandoned them? Surely they know he would never do such a thing, that the only reason he would disappear from their lives was that his own had ended.

The dead land would snap him from his mind. He would look around to still see the damage that fire had done to his old home. The trees never came back... It angered him that his life was stolen before his eyes before he would heal the land. A process that the brute was sure would have been yielding results by now.

But who cared. He was not Ardent anymore and the welfare of these new Pittians did not matter to him anymore. Who knows what type of people resided here. If Silent had taken over then Ky could only imagine the type of crimes that were encouraged. He would grumble to himself about the jungle, a bit sad that some of his favorite spots would never come back. That even the simplest forms of life were granted eternal peace.

"Hello!", he would boom. A deep thunder of a voice called to whoever was near. It would be so stupid to assume he could just walk in there and assume everyone would know who he is.
