the woman was working hard on a new potion. this one was to treat the flu. she was worried about needing it in this weather. so, she was rattling jars and shifting through her stuff. she moved in a bit ago and was working hard to settle in.
though, with jer feeling ill, she was now trying to help where she could. she had mixtures to try and was wondering if it was a mild flu. yet, it seemed more like a poison. one that would need to run its course. she could not be sure. The beast stepped in, hardly trying to be stealthy, with their little ornaments making noise wherever they went. With their mother sick, despite how often they proclaimed to love their family, the beast was mostly absent. But for good reason, as they were often out in the territory, keeping it safe and clean while Jer was sick. They loved their family dearly, but sometimes they did it from a distance. "What are these...?" They mused, looking past Salem and at the bottles and jars she had. There was a suspicious expression on their face, and they moved a paw toward one of the jars. "Articles of witchcraft?" Re: click on the tile ;; sakura - Cobra - 07-02-2022 THE FLAMES LICK AT MY FEET
the words made her jump slightly. taking her focus off her work to look back at the other. "ah. hello." she greeted before turning her entire frame to face the hellhound. ears forward as she thought about an answer that wouldn't get her burned at some stake. yet, she found none.
"yes and no. while some are, others are mixtures of herbs to help with sickness." she admits after a moment. letting her eyes wander over the other before silently bracing herself for the worst. "i am making stuff just in case. emergences don't wait, you know." she adds with an attempt at a friendly smile. "speech" teef Re: click on the tile ;; sakura - SAKURA R. Sakura hummed lowly as Salem spoke, and amusement sparked in them as she tried her best to be friendly. Tentatively picking up one of the jars, they examined it with a scrutinizing eye. Truly, they had no idea what they were looking for. "Most would find this stuff... not disturbing, but suspicious." and they placed the jar back where they found it. While they disliked the stuff, they were going to respect Salem's work. "What goes into the jars?" Turning their gaze back to the smaller being, they fell silent in hopes of a reply. her jars were suspicious? this was a fair call as some were very dangerous to the untrained. a smirk toyed her lips as she grabbed a jar and slid it onto a low shelf. watching the hellhound as they looked at another jar of hers and then asked what all went into them.
this was a good question, but a trick one. "that depends on the jar. some have plain honey for mixtures. some have poisons. others like this one." she would motion to the jar sakura had held moments ago. "contain things for strength and healing. that one in particular has feverfew and burnet. its to help with fevers and give strength to the one drinking it. basically its good for someone that is fighting poison or flue in some cases. if i add another herb that is."
