C:\Users\Rowan> Soft colored paws drifted across the terrain, dragging with them the body of a canine. Peach and blue orbs drifted across the landscape, taking in the scenery around the hellhound pup. Or well, not entirely a pup anymore but still a young adult. Rowan had been curious about the land outside of his home and so early yesterday morning he set out on a journey to just explore and see what the world had to offer. He knew he'd eventually return home, never one to stray far from his roots but he just had an itch that he needed to scratch.

A rather clear pond came into view just then and drew the hellhound's attention towards it. Rowan stalked over to the edge, lowering his muzzle down to drink from the pond. Once his thirst was quenched he settled back on his haunches, a soft sigh ringing out as his eyes fluttered close for a moment. It was nice to take a second and relax, having been traveling all day his limbs were growing tired. It was at that moment a crack of thunder struck through the area and startling the young canine. He hadn't paid much attention to the sky other than to notice that the sun was going down, honestly he should've paid more attention to the weather.

EYES BLACK, BIG PAWS -- hellhound. wandering servant.
He'd been observing the youth for quite some time now, hidden amongst the trees of the clearing the pond was within, low rumbles escaping the hellhound as he rested on his side, ghost pains keeping him in place, unable to move easily. Growling lowly as he continued his silent staring before pushing to his paws finally right as thunder cracked, covering his exit from the shrubbery. Rowan would be greeted with a gruff voice, "Oi kid. Don't be near open water right now.", he rumbled at the younger hellhound, eyes twitching with interest. One of his kind had had cubs, and here he was, believing them all to be infertile.

Stepping further out, the tall beast would rumble again, "You should find shelter before it comes pissing down, kid.", the grand beast would utter before turning away to trundle along the edge of the forest, uninterested in the youth now that he'd spoken his piece, seeking out his own shelter.

C:\Users\Rowan> The small body quickly turned around when a rough voice spoke up behind him, warning the pup that he shouldn't be near open water. It was then that the air cracked with thunder and he'd shrink in on himself, ears flattened against his cranium as he glanced up at the stormy sky. The next bout of words warned him to go seek shelter before it started raining and before Rowan could even speak the other hellhound, by the scent of it, had already begun to walk away. The hellhound youngster pushed up to his paws and quickly followed after the larger male, trailing behind him and honestly staying hot on his heels. "Do you know anywhere safe to stay?" He asked, gaze darting across the area in search of any place he could see that would be safe to stay in but sadly he saw none.

"I'm not from around here so I don't know this place well enough to find shelter on such short notice," he mused, voice soft as he spoke yet holding not an once of emotion. Another crack of thunder rung out, lightning racing across the sky and lighting up the area. A soft squeak slipped from Rowan's maw, his tail tucking between his legs. He coughed to cover up the squeak, straightening himself back out and pretending that he totally didn't just cower from the thunder.
