The Light in the Dark ~Intro~ - Fire - 06-05-2022 Mellowsprite ~ 14 moons ~ Shadowclan
Mellowsprite walked until she found shady area. She decided to lay there for a moment to rest before walking on. She didn't like the issues between one another so she stayed to herself, unless it involved her children or Nightstorm. Yes, she loved Nightstorm, but sometimes they couldn't get along. As she continue on she thought about the problems that were arising among the others. She thought that this was thing that she didn't care too much for. She looked around her keeping an eye out as she walked. She wanted no problems, especially not today. Mellowsprite then thought about Nightstorm and how they had grown apart and how that would put a strain on their kids especially Spadepaw. She didn't want anything to happen to Spadepaw. Mellowsprite stopped and sat down and just watched the world around her. She didn't care if others had a problem. She knew some would think that she was being lazy for just sitting around, but in fact she wasn't. Re: The Light in the Dark ~Intro~ - teef - 06-16-2022 FOLKS ARE IRRATIONAL ... ❖
The tension of camp was less of a surprise to the old tom and more of a normal thing, at least it was normal to the old former rogue. Mellowsprite wasn't alone in wanting to avoid tension, a storm that brewed and grew by the day. Huffing as he laid himself out in the sun, the old brute would stretch his jaws in a yawn and survey the area, spotting Mellowsprite and offering the molly a wave of his tail, calling out, "Good day, Mellowsprite. How's the day finding you?" as he rolled to offer a place nearby to converse.
Licking down stuck-up fur on his shoulder, the tom would stretch out comfortably, settling his head onto his forearms, soaking up the warmth of the sun into his pelt and muscles. It did get cool at night, so he took every chance to sit in the sun in the daytime, often moving around the camp or territory to find the warmest places available that weren't already taken. Having a bit of company was never a bad thing, and it helped him to get an understanding of the other cats hanging around. KIDS ARE ALL ANIMALS!
