bella was not one to stray from her path often. work, rest, family. that was it. she hardly did for herself, yet today was different. she was carefully picking her way through the land. not treading on plants, avoiding those fly traps, and watching for tiny creatures. she moved with a careful grace.

only stopping as a shallow strip of the river for a drink. spreading her front legs and lowering her lips to the water. drinking a bit before raising that long neck. slowly entering the water and laying in the shallows to bath herself.

The blue oriental demon blinked, suddenly awake from their cat nap. Blinking the tired from their eyes, they looked from their little rock toward the river, staring at the Okapi. Forcing the air near their body to grow cold, Brutei stood up and walked toward the water. "Trying to cool off?" They hummed, ears flicking.

the words brought those blue eyes up to focus on brutei. ears swiveling a bit and then a soft smile gracing elegant lips. she offered a soft dip of her head in greeting before answering. "indeed. the heat is unbearable today. even for myself." she offered in turn.

The demon hummed in agreement. their paw hovered over the water, and as they took a deep breath, the water underneath froze, clinging to the shore as to not flitter away. Though, as soon as they moved their paw, the ice started to melt. "Hm. It's a struggle for me to even keep cold." Shaking their head, Brutei looked to the okapi. "I do not believe I've introduced myself. Brutei Tsune." they smiled, sitting down at the river's edge.

the introduction made bella's eyes shine with that happy twinkly they often held. soft voice once again leaving her lips. "pleasure to meet you, brutei. i am bellaluna, though most call me bella or luna." she replies as she watched the ice flow down the river. head tilting slightly. "that is a lovely gift you have. i do not have such gifts, but vita blesses those that deserve it." she mused.
