can't see straight - [INVITE] - Romulus - 06-02-2022
Romulus did not have the time to entertain going anywhere with Tanglewood's own on his territory and two fools in need of punishment, especially seeing that one was an ambassador. Left without any viable face-to-face options, the kingpin settled on a note. After coaxing a few eagles on the territory, he latched a letter around their ankles and let them loose to their destination.
Reaching the swamp's edge, the bird let out a caw and shook out their leg to the first animal to arrive. Without protest, they would let them take hold of the message. Once opened, the scroll read:
'Tanglewood,
You are cordially invited to attend our merger event between the Spring Equinox and May's end. This event highlights our beautiful scenery and greenery, along with the end of the season. Should you accept, take the Jaws of the Serpent cave to the mainland and head inwards to the middle. There will be a bonfire, food, and gifts for your loved ones during this time. I dearly hope you attend.
As a special note for your group, I would like to add that Corrupttimelines, Merlin, and Kiara are present in our land. They are awaiting punishment for Ximen's murderers and are safe with us in the meantime. Any loved ones are also welcome to stay for said punishment, which will take place soon after the event. Again, my condolences for your loss. We will be arriving soon with a custom gravestone, your fellow members, and other things to express our displeasure for what occurred.

Just as a note before any confusion comes up with weird timing! Also anyone has permission to powerplay the eagle, but Romulus would enjoy if they returned, haha. ]

The eagle's cry drew his attention from his meandering within his house, tail puffing up as he was startled from his work in grafting specimens of plants and herbs, the tom quick to wash his paws of their green plant gore. Stepping from his house, he approached the majestic beast before taking the scroll from it and opening it upon the ground with rocks to hold the corners. Blinking as he read it, nodding softly as he read, devouring the information contained within. An event to witness the coupling of spring and summer - it was something he would attend to if it lined up in time with his journey. Whether that be aligned with Tanglewood's group or on his own wandering.
He would rather return the eagle when he went, for the time it would serve as a temporary replacement for his long lost avian companion, and he hoped he old hypothetically fill its master's pawprints for a while. At least until they got back to the Coalition territory. Turning now, he would make his way from the letter, left open to the rest of the group to read, letting the eagle glide after him back to his home. The bird could easily pick him up if it wished, but he sensed no malice in it as he prepared his satchel for the trip.
