Blackjack: a mystery to all who surround him and even to himself. This is a man determined to make a name for himself as the greatest bounty hunter to have ever lived on the Island, and he will stop at nothing to have his way and make this dream a reality. He will take on contracts for anyone, even if it means going after former clients. Indeed, he's a stone-cold killer when he's on the prowl, yet he seems to crumble whenever he spends a moment in solitude, surrounded by nothing but his anxiety-ridden thoughts.

Could one truly befriend this man? Though Blackjack cares little for true friendship (or perhaps simply has never experienced it before), he may become friendly with certain acquaintances that he deems as beneficial to him in some way; he prefers to surround himself with people that may be of value to him in the future in one way or another, especially those higher up in a group's hierarchy. In terms of relationships, Blackjack is also fairly clueless: he is beyond inexperienced in the realm of romance and will often fail to identify the emotions of infatuation and attraction if they even come about in the first place.

A wise warning for those who come across Mr. Venturo: take his flattery lightly, for he is not who he seems.

Care to strike a deal?

Look no further than Zjarr Ignibus: master blacksmith, arms dealer, and not-so-vengeful demon trying his hand at the mortal experience. A merchant at heart, Zjarr will do business with anyone who can offer something in return, no matter their origin or motives, and will stop at nothing to secure the greatest possible deal. He may even be open to more...demonic pacts should a curious customer approach him. A known enthusiast of scandalous, carefree lifestyles (perhaps notoriously so), he could also be found partying wherever he is welcome, enjoying the rowdy aspects of life. He is always prepared to make good friends and even better customers.

What lies beneath the surface is not quite so joyous. It is said that Zjarr too succumbs to obsession, spending many of his days in his Forge conversing with a ghost that he had once shared a physical form with. Though little is known to the public about his relationship with this ghost, who he refers to as "Flamey", it is clear that it seems tumultuous and interestingly one-sided, as though Zjarr sees Flamey as an emotional crutch rather than as another individual.

It is no difficult feat to befriend this man, but will another soul truly decipher the mystery of Zjarr Ignibus and his bizarre fixations? The world may never know.

Few things plague Maximilian Caputo more than the notion of evil and chaos: without justice, there will never be peace. According to Max, this is a duty that the Island has neglected for too long, and he has taken matters into his own hands. Enter the Enclave, his band of justice-seekers that aim to target all who commit wrongdoings among the clans and bring widespread peace and safety to the Island.

One would expect this lionhearted vigilante to be kind and courteous, and yet one may be surprised to discover that he can stray far from such a description. Cold and distrustful, Max has donated the entirety of his life to his valiant cause, and he finds no interest in others who do not share his passion; and even if they did, he often has his worries on their motives in the first place. He is bluntly devoid of laughter and expression, as though he is more machine than man. To stir some sort of outwardly emotion is a great and rare feat, accomplished by only a handful of individuals that truly touch him.

To gain Maximilian's trust is to devote one's life to him and his passion, for he lives his days between fits of depressive paranoia that pulls him from the people surrounding him and cause him to question his acquaintances' every action. If you seek to get on this man's good side, prepare yourself to work long and hard for it, for he is curiously selective with those he can let his guard down around.

To Rainstep, there is no greater cause than to live, work, and die for your clan. Loyalty and honor are of utmost importance, and there are few things in life that could rival them. Rainstep is certain that this way of life is the only way for a true warrior, and he asserts that it is this life of productivity that builds strength, humility, and valiance. After all, what use is a warrior if they are not prepared to give their last meal to a queen in need, or to exchange their own life for the lives of a camp in need of protection from the unknown?

And yet even with his determination, Rainstep still seems to fall apart at the seams.

He takes great pride in his factotum lifestyle, yet it is clear that the complete and utter denial of much-needed relaxation and pleasure is taking a toll on him. Though he was raised by his equally-workaholic family to be as productive as possible, some clanmates understand that this is not the same tom who spent his youth running away from home, taking on unthinkable dangers in the name of fun (leaving him with some permanent scars), and enjoying the carefree sentiments of apprenticehood. The pressure of familial honor has shaped him into a man now unrecognizable by those he had grown up alongside.

Still, he takes great joy in the little things in life: sunbathing upon the Sunningrocks, small talk with his fellow warriors. He is not impossible to earn his respect, but trying to get Rainstep to escape from his shell of endless servitude may be a much tougher goal to accomplish.
