Using her wings to shield the two from the scorching heat, Kold, in her rottweiler-wolf form, walked with the oriental kitten in her mouth. His little blue body dangled, and he was exhausted. But alive. That's all either of them could ask for.

Stepping into the plaza, she dropped the boy down and stood over him as she called out. "Someone- anyone! Get me water and Leon. NOW!" She barked, then looked back at the weary boy.

"You'll be okay. You'll be fine, boy." She licked his head, and nuzzled his side. Then, Kold sat down and waited.

the woman's call rang in her ears, sending her coming to see what the commotion was. the one thing that struck her was that she was calling for water and leon, a name she didnt recognize. she didn't know who leon was but she sent an npc to go looking for the individual in question before trotting out to meet kold with a water bladder in her jaws, setting it down when she saw the sight of a kitten underneath the marauder. fuck. that couldn't be good.

twisting open the cap, she offered it to kold, "someone is looking for leon. i know a little first aid.", she could only assume that leon was someone with medical training, leaving her to rumble uncertainly as she looked down at the kitten, her mind awhirl. there was a good chance that the little one was suffering from heat exhaustion, "take the kitten inside, he needs to get out of the heat and fast.", she instructed kold while sniffing at the kitten, recoiling at the heat in the air. it was hot enough for the adults, let alone children who probably weren't used to the desert.

barking at a nearby on-looking npc, she instructed them to procure wet towels or leaves and to put them in the nearest cool building that the kitten could be transferred to. "how old is he, kold? i won't ask where you found him, but we have to keep him cool without growing cold. its smart to treat him for heat exhaustion, and likely heatstroke.", she spoke as she led the way to the building, "lay him down on the leaves. we'll have to swap them out when they get warm from his body temperature."

Kold stood as soon as Ramona approached, listening as the other spoke, far too concerned with the child's safety to give any quips or remarks. Gently she picked Boy up again and started following Ramona, raising her wings over her head in an attempt to keep the heat from getting any worse for him.

Once inside, and once she set the child down on the leaves, she turned to look at the other. "All I know is that he's really young. Looks to be no more than three months old? That or he's just really tiny for an adolescent." She flicked her ears, "Just tell me when he needs to move - he was hardly moving when I found him."
