His muzzle parted on a slow but powerful yawn before he shook himself after flashing those sharp teeth. Short tail twitched back and forth as he finally decided it was worth the time to actually get things more organized he supposed. Though he had been talking to some cats about moving beyond this forest and to achieve more hunting grounds. He disliked the idea of being locked down here like this when they could explore, see what else there was to be had out there. Why not when they seemed to be the only group that was around here? Frowning he slipped his way through the thicket. Shifting along the path that he was slowly becoming familiar with and easing his way into the thick forest. The sounds of animals was lively and bright and well he had been out before.

Hunting seemed to he extremely plentiful here and he knew that despite everything he could not just neglect those that could not eat or hunt for themselves. It would not do. So he had been hunting and now he was going to collect, walking witb a purpose to dig up corpses he had pushed into the earth. Once he was done he had a couple voles and two squirrels that he dragged into camp. Placing them in the middle before he licked a paw in thought. He was sure this would be a food spot to start collecting their prey for meals. "For those that can hunt, I think it is a good idea to start gathering our food here in camp. Better protection from whatever might try to take it."

"I DONT EVER WANNA FALL" tags ── In truth, out of all of the insufferable cats here, Canary had grown to dislike Swan the most. They had few encounters, but every single one of them appeared unpleasant in a sense. Perhaps destiny was set on making them feel disdain towards one another. The tortie didn’t care, frankly. She would hate the former until the end of her days, and she was perfectly fine with that.

However, she never said they couldn’t have one good idea.

Hearing their announcement, at first she had a burning urge to say absolutely not. Seeing as she was pregnant, she wanted to keep all of the prey she gathered for herself and her kits to be. However, the more motherly instinct in her reared up after a moment. She needed to protect all of the kids.

Sighing, she flung a rabbit she caught into the pile.

[div style="width: 50%; line-height: 14px; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px;"]Admittedly Rainstep had been ahead of the game in terms of stockpiling the kills he had scored from his numerous hunts since arriving to this new territory. With the immense growth of their so-called clan, the tom's worries only intensified, his mind particularly filled with the bothersome thoughts of starvation and outrage. He went on hunting patrols alone several times each day to combat these fearsome ideas and put them to rest, bringing forth a multitude of prey for the clan as his fellow warriors were doing.

His pile had been stashed in a corner of the camp, tucked away for safety but visible enough so that those who were hungry and in need of a meal were free to take from it. There was too much fresh-kill in his stash for Rainstep alone to indulge in, and regardless, he hardly felt as if he could eat a mere morsel of food these days. His appetite was beginning to elude him day by day, but it wasn't as though he felt bothered by it. Yet, at least.

He had made his intentions on his "personal" pile clear, and he would do so again in the presence of Swan and the ever-bitter Canarysong. "I've been keeping a stash of fresh-kill since we came here," he said. "I'll be happy to donate it all. It was never meant to fill my own belly alone, anyway." With that being said, dark-furred tom began collecting the prey from his pile as Swan made his announcement, taking as much as he could in one stride before returning for more.
