first comes the blessing ❄ open ❄ then comes the curses of diamonds and rings - pallid-i - 05-25-2018

The kitten was still shaken up after the whole ordeal he went through with his actual mother and finding out that Jacob and practically everyone else he had come to know as family.. wasn't even related to him. It just shattered his world, his life.. Everything was not what he wanted to be, and he wanted to believe that things would go back to normal, as if nothing had happened. Though that wouldn't happen. It was impossible to go back to the old way of life now that he knew things. It almost made him want to cry, though the kitten was too tired to cry at this point. Maybe he just needed a little talking to.. something to calm him down.
i couldn't even keep you

.
Emotions were not his forte. They never had been and never were supposed to. The wildcat was trained so that he would never let his feelings distract him in the end. It had been hard training, and most of it dealt with him getting mentally passed the feeling of anger or even the feeling of guilt. He couldn't afford to have emotions cloud his mind while he was out on a job, as it could easily just end in his life. His family didn't want that to happen so they made sure that it wouldn't even come into play while he was just a kitten. Killua had started his training when he was only three months old, a young age for any wild animal that was just born, but he wasn't exactly small either at that age of being a serval. The wildcat had gotten close to the size of a domestic cat at that point, and he would be able to take on the physical torture that his family had planned for him. Killua learned to block out the pain of those that wanted to harm him and were successful in doing so. It wasn't easy for the likes of him to stop from screaming out at the pain that rippled through his body when a knife was driven into his back. His older brother making sure to target practically every area of his body so that nerve damage would spread to the rest of his body. It was a painful process, but it was one that was still helping him to his day. It was almost always funny to watch the look spread across someone's face when they realized that they wouldn't be able to cause the likes of him pain with their attacks. Breaking a bone could certainly hurt him, but he wouldn't scream out. He could bear the pain and make sure no reactions were given, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt him. If someone used electricity against him, it had the exact same reaction too. The young male had been through plenty, but one thing was for certain, he didn't want anyone else to go through what happened to him, not even a little bit of a degree. The assassin couldn't handle the idea of someone being put through the torture that he had been through. Killua having been forced to grow up far too quickly in the eyes of his family, and he was almost already an adult and he didn't know what it was like to have a childhood. To have fun. He had London of course, but he couldn't rely on her for everything, could he? It just felt wrong putting too much on her shoulders, and he knew that he couldn't go to Stark because the other would think it would be a good idea to take on the likes of his family anyway.

Either way, Killua had indeed let his emotions get in the way when Harrison got captured. At first, his worst fear had almost been realized as he thought that maybe it had been his family that captured the kit, and had taken him away as a warning. And that Killua would have to go get him back and sacrifice the life that he had established himself with here. The Zoldyck couldn't have that, but he almost had a form of relief when there was actually a scent that was left behind for him to track. If there hadn't been a scent, it could have been one of two things. It was either that his brother had taken Harrison, or it was someone like Illumi that was capable of using air elementals to block their scent. But he didn't have to worry about any of that till he met the creature that had attacked Harrison. In most circumstances, Killua would have simply killed the female that had taken Harrison. Why should he hesitate to kill someone like that? But he stopped himself as there were far too many faces that were around him. The Snowstriker had given her an option to speak, and once she said that she was his actual mother, it made Killua stop. Who was the one that dropped Harrison on the border then? Killua refused to kill the female from that point, but he had been quick to scold her and say that she should have gone through it with different methods. This was a mother and her son, he wasn't going to take that away from her. He would always lack trust from her though, and had even said that if she wanted to she could just stay in Snowbound with the rest of them and she would be protected. Although with the human factor right now that may not even be the best option either. The albino serval let his emotions get into the way in the beginning, but through sheer willpower he stopped himself. Not even Illumi's whispers could make him move. But a lot had happened since then, one of which Killua gaining a new companion. One that he wished wasn't around him at the moment considering the Hellhound seemed to basically hover over him. Killua did care about Mike a little bit, but he knew that he was going to be running out of time if he wasn't careful. He needed to heal from his injuries and quickly. The assassin having bandages that wrapped around his throat and his right arm, injuries that he had given to himself while he was asleep.

They would heal, yes, but it was going to take a decent amount of time, the time he didn't have. He constantly had a headache now, which he wasn't exactly sure how it even happened. Now that the 10ft Hellhound was following him around wherever he went, it was basically impossible for him to remain stealthy with the giant beast lumbering after him. He blinked his sapphire blue eyes as he was making his way toward camp, his appearance not really have changed over time. He just hoped that he wouldn't run into Hisoka again, the kitsune having returned, something Killua had hoped wouldn't happen. A familiar scent filled his nostrils as he entered the cave to the camp, and since Mike was too big to actually enter the camp, the beast was forced to wait outside. But he would continue monitor Killua's movements as he made his way through the camp. His head turned to look at the hunched figure of Harrison, and he felt his throat clenched up. The others bleeding figure still in his mind from the night terror that he had. He flicked one of his large white ears as he made his way over, thinking about a way to comfort someone. He had no idea. He never had to. He just usually said something logical and sometimes that either worked or made everything worse. Killua stopped slightly in front of Harrison and cleared his throat as his anxiety started to build. "Yo Harrison." Killua would say in a calm tone, a small grin spread across his facial features as he sat himself down. He couldn't exactly give this kid chocolate as it was most likely toxic to him, so he would just have to use his words. Not something that Killua was great at doing. "How ya holding up?" A simple question to start. That was something right? He definitely didn't want to make the other cry by saying something wrong.

Re: first comes the blessing ❄ open ❄ then comes the curses of diamonds and rings - ATBASH CIPHER. - 05-27-2018

ATBASH CIPHER
light the night up,
you're my dark star
Atbash couldn't imagine the stress and trauma Harrison might be going through after being kidnapped, and to be truthful, the she-cat was a little afraid of approaching him in fear of upsetting him. She may have a mother instinct, but that didn't mean she wanted to see the kit crying. If that happened, of course she'd try to comfort him, but she much rather it not come to that. Atbash didn't know what happened when he got kidnapped, but something definitely changed it, and it honestly hurt to see Harrison so upset over things.

Luckily, though, Killua seemed to know how to approach him without hopefully upsetting him. Atbash followed after him, a sympathetic smile on her face. "Hey, Harrison." She said, letting out a small purr to try and show Harrison that she was there for him.
