YOU ARE THE SUN AND I AM JUST THE PLANETS ; o, birthday/anniversary surprise - Suiteheart - 05-24-2018 [align=center][div style="width: ##px; height: ##px;"] ![]() Suiteheart had woken up happy. She'd been brewing a plan for a long, long while. She had originally wanted to do this on the true date of their anniversary - March 31 -, but the pair had been lost to one another then, doomed to wandering the earth in search of each other. As soon as they had reunited, Suite had decided to move her plans to Margaery's birthday. Better late than never, she supposed. During the first part of the day, Margaery had baked a cake for everyone as it was her birthday. It warmed her heart, honestly, because her wife was putting everyone else before her own needs. Again. The simple fact that Marg had baked a cake she couldn't eat in order to share something with her friends was kind, more kind than Suite believed she herself was capable of. But the cake had given her an idea. With a little help from a willing blood donor and an npc with the ability to freeze things, Suite had crafted a little cake for her wife. It was made entirely of blood, so this time, her wife would be the only one allowed to consume the cake. In addition to the cake, Suiteheart had come across a small, rose gold bracelet in the Observatory on the second week of her stay in the Ascendants. Now, she decided, was the perfect time to give it to her wife. As neatly as her large paws could, she had wrapped the little gift up, tying a very haphazard bow around the gift wrapping. It looked as though a small child had performed this task, but she was sure her wife wouldn't mind. The polar bear had cleared a room in the Observatory for the little party. A small table sat in the middle of the room. The frozen, blood cake sat perfectly in the middle. The wrapped up bracelet sat to its right, and a newly framed photo of Suite and Margaery sat on its left (the picture was from the previous year, but it had never been framed, so why not now?). Streamers and decorations were pinned up and tossed about the room, but it was not too much. It was simply and elegantly done as if each thing had been placed perfectly. Finally, a handwritten letter that read, "Happy birthday and late anniversary, my love. Here's to many more years of both celebrations." Suite hid on one side of the room, just out of vision of Margaery when she would walk into the room. She had instructed all those who would be attending this little party to do the same so that they all might jump out and shout, "happy birthday!" Everyone seemed eager to do so, and Suiteheart hoped everything went off without a hitch. She had sent an npc to find and bring Margaery to the little room. Now, all the hidden group had to do was wait. Bastille adored Margy, he did, and he was pleased that it was her birthday. But -- okay, look. That meant he had to figure out what the fuck to get her for her birthday, and it wasn't exactly like he had much time to agonize over it when she had literally decided to tell them about it the day of. What good did that do him? No good. Not even the slightest bit of good. That left him with only a few hours to avoid her like hell and scramble to figure something out. It wasn't like he could just give her more flowers. Hell, she even grew her own now. Eventually, he'd settled on an idea. And thank fucking gods, because he'd only finished haphazardly trying to wrap the damn thing when Suite came to round them all up. He wasn't huge of crowding into a dark room with people so much in his space, but it was Margy, and so he waited accordingly for her to arrive.

When the npc came across her and urged her to join them in a tiny room, Margaery was admittedly a bit hesitant. Not because of stranger danger or anything of that sort (this was one of her clanmates after all), but more so because surprises had the uncanny ability to frighten her. She knew, she knew... it was part of the description. But if a surprise was indeed happening, she supposed that she best prepare herself. She followed after her clanmate in silence, mind going a million miles a minute as she tried (and failed) to figure out what awaited her at their destination. If anything. It was quite possible that this was just some silly prank and that there'd only be an abandoned closet full of supplies or maybe some dust and cobwebs. The npc seemed a bit too excited for that alternative though. Hm. When they arrived, Margaery was urged into the room where she looked around quizzically. It was dark, immensely so. Was this it? Birthdays were always exciting. A yearly tradition. A day that you could enjoy with friends and family. Luna had fond memories of her birthdays- as well as her brother's, but her mother had decided to not celebrate her own birthdays.
The Starstruck Guardian had hidden behind Suiteheart, as she figured she'd be well hidden because their pelts were the same color. space
