[div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: georgia; color: #06A77D;"]dragging himself to the tide pool he called home, the male would slip inside. looking about for anyone or thing. he was sure others lived here too. the typhoon, like himself. he just had not met many. so, he was wondering if they left him. if they did, he would be furious.he would hunt them down and slaughter them one by one. though, he still smelled the land dwellers. so, he doubted it. but, he was bored and a hunt was seeming fun. just maybe not his clan members. for now.

"Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land" ♆ tags ── While Scyllios was mute, it was not a deformity or something that happened when they were born. Rather, it was a selective thing. Should they wish to, they could speak verbally, and only resort to intruding on the minds of others if necessary. But the reverse was better. And they always respected the wishes of those they spoke into the minds of.
Their low humming carried through the air, a somber tune they learned from a sailor they believed to be long dead. The Typhoon was a homely place for the maned wolf, much more appropriate for their life than the Coalition. Warmer, livelier, not the home of her thought-to-be-dead insane mother figure. Their steps along the tide pools were careful, but they were unaware of another within the pools.

[div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: georgia; color: #06A77D;"]a creature passing by stole his attention. his odd self slipping closer to the edge of the tide pool. his fin sticking out as he rose up a bit to investigate. eyes flicking over this being as if studying them. the male was not hunting this creature. after all, it was the typhoon scent all over them.blinking a moment before letting out a low rumble. the sharktopus curled a tentacle up in a weird hello style fashion. not wanting to startle this 'friend'. though he was not going to talk. he couldn't.

That expression was quickly overtaken by a kind smile, ver tail waving back. Gently vey tried to pry into Octavio's mind to speak. "Salve!* I'm Scyllios." Vey sat down, tail coiling around their legs gently.

[div style="width: 51%; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; letter-spacing: 0px; font-family: georgia; color: #06A77D;"]the voice entered his mind and the half feral abomination froze. the other spoke and he wondered if ve could read his own thoughts. that might be risky, as his thoughts were not something he could control sometimes. can you hear octavio's thoughts?the idead ve could hear thoughts was boggling. he never knew such a thing happened. but, it was a blessing. perhaps this creature could offer a form of company octavio never had before. frankly, he lived there and most people didn't know about him. he wasn't sure he was even in the group or if they were to scared to tell him to beat it.

the sharktopus blinked in turn before aiming a soft pat on ver shoulder with one of his tentacles. a show of understanging from the hybrid. octavio can't speak at all. octavio wants to, but never learned. he replied in his mind.
vey made a comment on the gentle nature of ver intrusion. octavio is not worried. octavio does not have deep thoughts to hide. he replied with a shrug of two tentacles. it simply was the truth.
