TERRIFYING SOUND - - Open, easy plot task - Luciferr - 05-24-2018 Hymn of Ruin LUCIFER GRIMM — SNOWBOUND — MALE — VERY DIFFICULT (05-22-2018, 02:02 PM)jacob w.c. link Wrote: [member=232]LUCIFER GRIMM.[/member] : There's been a group of humans spotted travelling closer to the tunnels. Lucifer's to take at least two other people to see what they're up to and report back to sb about their activities. [member=442]S. FERRO[/member] [member=186]| KILLUA ZOLDYCK |[/member] [member=706]quinn[/member] Lucifer had heard the commotions near the tunnels from where he'd been camofaluged in an area beside the various entrances, choosing to be a premptive bodyguard for each entrance and exit varying each day - so it was that his eyes had slitted open to spot what could only be the silhouettes of humans on the periphery and was briefly thankful his dark hide hid him well against the dark shadows. so while they were distant, he'd taken the time to find help - help to find out just what they were up to and what course of action should be taken. /low muse ;-; + plan to have the humans making traps around the area if you guys wanted to know c: Re: TERRIFYING SOUND - - Open, easy plot task - HISOKA - 05-25-2018 [align=center]
[div style="background-color:#BG COLOR;width:90%; overflow: stretch;text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt;color:#212121"]♠ The good thing about dwelling within the tunnels, was that no one could really sneak up on the kitsune. Not unless someone could cushion their paw steps against the stone flooring. But there were different tells for spotting killua. Though the deputy had been trained to keep silent he forsook the patience that was necessary to keep it. Cocky in his ability to sneak up on anyone- and the kitsune was not quite ready to give away that snippet of advice.
Unlike lucifer he did not have the ability to blend with the darkness of the cave. He was more accustomed to blending in with the outside that he didn't much bother with camouflage within the depths. As the echoing sounds of shuffling near one of the entrances he stepped closer, careful to keep his coloring hidden behind the shawl of the dragon's form. Offering the other a smile in greeting but no words. While humans were clumsy in nature the kitsune was not an idiot. he would not doubt that whoever was outside could hear them speaking. If not a twoleg then maybe one of those enslaved animals that he knew they sometimes kept with them. ♦ qualities of gum and rubber - ♥ // TAGS 「5/23」: Re: TERRIFYING SOUND - - Open, easy plot task - | KILLUA ZOLDYCK | - 05-25-2018 [align=center] [shadow=darkblue,right]KILLUA[/shadow]
.
Killua prided himself in his abilities when it came to being an assassin. Although he didn't exactly need that thought anymore since he was never going to consider himself an assassin. The title didn't exactly fit him anymore, but if someone knew what an assassin was and took a look at him, they would probably consider him to be so. His age could potentially keep someone from having that type of thought though since most wouldn't think that a highly trained assassin would be capable of being extremely threatening. The wildcat had experience when it came to fighting different type of creatures as well. He fought dragons, and different beasts, but Killua had never fought against humans. At least with the current memories that he did have, as there were memories that were taken from him of when he did kill a human. It had been back in the first clan that he had started to establish friends and a family, and it was there that the wildcat was captured by scientists that wanted to study why the serval was so different. Tipped off by his older brother as a means of testing him to make sure that he would be able to get out of a trap like that. Which, Killua was, as they pumped him with drugs thinking that would halt his movements. He feigned death to make the scientist believe that he was killed, and it was from there when they started to undo his restraints that he attacked the scientists that had been torturing him. During this exchange, he only killed one human, and it wasn't that difficult considering that he had plenty of powers that he could use for himself. The albino serval didn't come out of it unscathed though, as he lost two teeth, and had shards of glass spread across his body from jumping out of a window. Probably not one of his best moments, but it wasn't a moment that Killua could even remember. With the current memories that he did have, he wasn't even sure if he had ever messed with a human before. Maybe if his family wanted to use them as a sort of test subject maybe, but other than that he usually stayed away from them. Not because of fear, he could get himself out of practically any situation that was presented to him. It was more of the fact that it would be a waste of time to deal with a creature that wasn't capable of understanding him in the first place.
He enjoyed making cocky and sarcastic remarks to those that were around him, and if the only reaction he could get out of a human was fear for him threatening their life, then there would be no point. He had to have some form of enjoyment after all when it came to the clans that they were living in. With the issues that were happening with the clan right now, it wasn't a surprise that humans were part of the reason as to why this was happening. He didn't have a distinct hate for them, but if anything they were just annoying. The wildcat was slightly surprised that Lucifer had asked him to help him out. Did the dragon even need help in the first place? The guy could easily crush a human in between his jaws and with the technology the humans had he doubted that they would be able to use anything against the mythical creature to get him away or even kill him. Wait, could a bullet go through the others armor? Now if it could, that would most certainly be an issue for them if the humans were carrying weapons. Killua was almost always observant with whatever happened in the clans and barely let anything get passed him. However, this didn't mean that Killua wanted Hisoka to be around him in the first place. Just being around the kitsune irritated him to no end and gave him a terrible headache. Killua had already met up with Lucifer and had known the other that was going to come along with them. He hadn't expected Hisoka to be one of them. as soon as he spotted the other mythical creature, a scowl spread across his facial features. Killua had asked that Mike stay a good distance away from them so that the humans wouldn't be alerted to their presence. Which the hellhound reluctantly agreed to do once he sat himself down. The Zoldyck practically glared daggers at Hisoka before turning to look at Lucifer. Killua didn't seem all that trouble with what was happening, and his body language showed he was calm. "Why don't we just get rid of them? Or you like grab them and dump them back in that town of theirs?" Killua would whisper toward the massive spiked dragon. It was an option, and if they were really that much of a threat killing them would mean it would be easy. Killua didn't really count it as a bad thing for killing a human, but killing a fellow animal was more of an issue because that was what he was trying to prevent. No one in the Zoldyck history had hired them to kill a human. So it meant it would be okay... right? snowbound -- snowstriker -- male -- 8 moons [sub]template © olivan

WHAT A PRIVILEGE IT IS TO LOVE — Jacob had been a thief once. It wasn't a fact he shared with many of the members in Snowbound. He knew that plenty of them had their fair share of nefarious and shady activities but he never spoke about his own. When he came here, he'd wanted to leave it all behind him. With everything that'd been happening recently, he was starting to wonder if that'd really be possible. He had plenty of skills that he simply refused to use in Snowbound. Not because he wasn't any good with them, but because he was terrified of slipping back into old habits. He'd never liked stealing or hurting people or anything like that but it still frightened him. After awhile, things like that just became a way of life and he never wanted that for himself ever again. The idea itself was absolutely ridiculous because Jacob had never even become complacent with the idea. He'd always hated it and felt uncomfortable when it came to making his way into houses where he was uninvited and taking money from unsuspecting people just passing by on the street. He'd learned all the tricks, though, and he learned them from the best. Vito had made sure of that. Tonight, though, he decided to make an exception. He would use his quiet footing to avoid being detected and he'd do his best to gather information he wasn't supposed to have. He hadn't been so sure about it at first. He hadn't done many jobs after the fire had hindered his motor skills but he knew that, if things got tight, there were other ways he could try to get out of the area as soon as he could. He approached softly behind Killua, Lucifer, and Hisoka with surprisingly light and quiet movements for a creature that could barely move his legs during the day. "Because they're still livin' bein's with families, Killua. I wanna know why they're 'ere 'cause then we can take tha' reason away and they'll leave us be. Humans have complex social systems but they're real opportunistic. We take away they opportunity, they ain't likely ta' stick around for much longer. If they push back afta' tha', then we'll start lookin' at more direct methods ah' gettin' 'em outta' 'ere," he explained, his eyes fixed on the group. Jacob was used to being around lots of humans and he was used to the way they worked. They always seemed to take the easiest option, even if it would hurt them in the end. Jacob didn't quite understand it but he saw it in the city all the time. They defaced their own buildings, ruined their own territory, and attacked each other for ridiculous reasons. However, he supposed all those things could be applied to his own civilization as well. After all, he wasn't sure Jersey had ever failed to take anyone up on the offer to fight over ridiculous things, especially while drunk. In any case, he hoped this would be a simple case of preventing them from getting what they wanted, making it an inconvenience, and then watching them scatter. He didn't care for any blood to be shed on either side. He also knew how dangerous humans could be. While it might not seem much to someone like Lucifer or Killua, Jacob was still frightened of the firearms and machines they often carried. There was no way for him to combat that or escape. They wouldn't win if those humans found their tunnels and tried to get rid of them. So, an indirect attack seemed like the best option for now. —A GREAT HONOR TO HOLD YOU UP "SPEECH" |
