the little male was still swimming. he was always swimming, after all. the child was a water crazy being. the little hybrid simply enjoyed the freedom it gave. but, as one would tell from closer inspection, this swim was different. he was circling something in the waters. almost curious.

until he dove under and came back moments later. on his nose was an old necklace of some sort. it was algae covered and held a stone of red coloring. a ruby, not that he would know it. to him, this was a treasure. one he would never part with. the child let it slide down his head and swam to shore.
