Shadows || Blooding - Violet Ryder - 04-05-2022

Leon Lite

TW; Mentions of Death and torture ))

Leon could not get far within the group with out first doing a trial in which they had called a blooding. Sure, he had been quite new to the group, but it had not meant he wasn't willing  to show his "loyalty" to The Pitt, even if it was false. Leon never pledges his loyalty to a group, the only thing he would ever be loyal to was himself. The heat battered on his bay fur, the statchel rubbing uncomfortably against his skin as he walked within the desert, sand finding its way into his fur while his paws sunk into the ground as he moved about.

He had to survive out here for what was it? A week? A day? He had not been sure, he hadn't  pay attention much to the words of the others, having willingly take on the task head first, a typical thing for the youth. However, the solitude was something quite normal for the boy as he wondered about, tracking his way back to camp. It was tougher to travelnat day due to the heat but much harsher when the sun went down as the weather cooled down. During this time the boy had to fend for himself, and even hunt on his own, which was fine, he had his ways. He carried sharp objects on him and even had his own stash of herbs to heal himself in case a bigger creature came along and banged him up well.

Which would be no surprise that he would get attacked by a creature bigger or close to his size, which he would quickly make a escape from no matter how difficult  it had been foe him. Of course during his time out within the desert he had trapped a poor creature and had his fun with it, doing experiments on the little guy, which of course did not last long, the creature had eventually passed from a slow and painful death and Leon had stripped it bare where only the skeleton had remained, he then quickly stashed a rib, a tooth and the jaw of the creature.

On the last day of the trial, Leon finally made his way back to the camp, his fur messy and covered in dust while some of his fur clunged to his skin due to sweat. His whites of fur almost the same blended color of bay while he heaved a heavy sigh and set down the rib, jawbone and tooth on the ground before him. "I have returned" he said smoothly, a tired look in his pale grey eyes. He could not wait to have a, relatively and hopeful good nights of sleep.

(Tldr: He just basically tortured a poor creature to death, took its jaw bone, tooth and rib as proof for his blooding and returned back with them as proof ))

“Ayyyyyye, fuck yeah. Now you’re a proper Pittian—and the only medic among that number.” Vale didn’t honestly care if the Pitt had healers or not, but Olalla and plenty of others did.

Vale swooped down, dipping a right wing to circle around the serval. “Damn, was I that exhausted when I came back? You should really get some sleep. And water. And some food.” Should the crow offer to help? Hell no, a baby could find the Pitt’s food and water resources. “Enjoy your rest, Leon, you’ve earned it!”

Re: Shadows || Blooding - blackjack - 04-06-2022

What Blackjack had noticed about the Pitt was the very blatant lack of medical personnel among their ranks. He wasn't necessarily complaining, for he was used to solving his own problems by simply not sustaining severe injuries in the first place (yes, it was that easy!), but he did find it a bit strange, to say the least. He felt that for a group of this size and of this overall personality, some kind of healing specialist had to have found a living patching up the bloodthirsty boneheads dwelling in the desert. The closest he had found was Bonnie, and even then, he wasn't entirely sure if she even considered herself a healer in the first place.

Leon made his intentions a little clearer. He could identify the younger male as a well-versed, up-and-coming medic. A young doctor was just what they needed, he believed. The jaguar offered his own congratulations to the youth as he appeared behind the Ardent. "Welcome back. Good work, Leon."

"CALL ME MAVERICK"

IC TEXT

he had no idea what the blooding was, but as interesting as it seemed damion wasn't about to walk in and do something that was called "blooding". at least not until he knew more about it. apparently it was something great and honorable, so he mumbled a quick "congratulations.", shaking excess goop off of his tail.

The leopardsune's gaze flicked towards Vale before his gaze drifted towards the others. Sure, he was now considered an full member of the pitt but also the only healer? How intriguing, he almost felt bad. Leon was a good healer, even if he was still learning, however he was also one who willed to dip his paws in blood and allow it to ooze in between his own paws, but he would keep those dark secrets to himself and dipped his head in gratefulness to those who had willed themselves to congratulate the youth. All seemed more happy instead of concerned, something he was glad for. "Glad to have shown some worth" he said smoothly. Was he though? He still had no true allegiance to the pitt, and he was still not sure if was willing to call this place home. For now he was just trying to wiggle his way through and will himself  towards the top, however at the moment, it would seem him being a healer had some form a worth and one that maybe would do in time lean into  his favor.
