Takes of such beings, walking with no legs, had cast upon the child’s imaginative ears hundreds of times. Some spoke of the creatures with great fear, even horror. Others? They referred to them as amazing, perhaps upon a mantle such as gods. Perhaps that was drastic, but that was how Arfur heard it!

Trudging nearby, he had noticed the gentle voice of Chernabog. Which was rather odd in his eyes, seeing how large the beast was. Switch ebony optics would trail amongst the creature, before landing upon the snake that clung to them dearly. Mystic wonder filled his expression, joy permeating his lips.
