the brutality, of war. of life, of everything that there was. the female let her head loll back against the fence with a small sigh, the wine glass in her hand nearly spilling its rich contents. she was hyper-aware of herself, her labored breathing, the tingling down her spine, the slight wetness of her lips stained bloodred. the sweet, sweet lie of a promise. the fluttering of the feather in her ear. her hair, tumbling past her shoulders and swaying, gently in the wind. the featherlight touch of fabric against her honeyed skin.
she swayed drunkenly on her feet, casting bright optics towards the moon. she felt a special connection with the man in the moon tonight, him having acted as her diary, her journal. countless memories, murmured and crooned into the air, accompanied by soft clouds of her breath.
she could almost imagine the music, slow and seductive. she moved slightly, a lazy smile on her face, holding the wine glass in the air like she was dancing with an imaginary partner. she saluted the air with a small whoop, letting her head fall back again. she was intoxicated, the stars accompanying her dance, creating a supernova that lit up the world in wonderful spirals and sparkles and glitter.
