NOTHING AND NO ONE / joiner - Chernabog - 03-29-2022
Her wings flapped steadily as she approached the border. The new fins that lined the sides and back of her neck were a bright, neon green. Strong jaws let out a low bellow, and she swooped toward the sands.
Double thumbed talons touched the sands softly as she landed, skidding to a halt with fins on her tail to aid her. Just as the ones on her neck were green, these fins on her tail were electric yellow.
Rearing up on her hind legs, she let out another bellow, finishing it as she slammed her forelegs into the ground. It was a proclamation of arrival. That she had returned.

A screech of welcome met her bellowing return. Even before it laid eyes on her, it knew that call. Renlys took to the skies with a rumble in his throat, a sort of fire that had not been seen from him in some time. Familiarity, warmth, fueled him. A sort of pull towards his kind, towards her, urged him forward on powerful wings. Dragons were social creatures despite their common isolation. It was a joyous day when dragons were reunited.
He hovered above her head, another roar tearing out of his throat. It was his acceptance of her return, an approval of her form in the purest, rawest sense he could muster. There was no pretense with one of his kind. Without question, she was home. Renlys didn't even spare a glance towards Jormungand, he only beat his wings harder and flitted around as gracefully as his gigantic form could - a dance that was quite flattering in his own language. Welcome. Welcome, home.

Vale flew over Jor’s head, dropping black feathers in vis mad dash to Cherna. Ve circled Renlys and Cherna, avoiding the dragons’ dancing and keenly aware the two could easily crush ver or Jor. Best to be brief, then leave the dragons to their reunion.
“Thought you’d died or worse, Cherna.” The crow cawed out a laugh. “Glad I was wrong!”

What was happening??
When Arfur had joined, he met many strange people in a place very unfamiliar to himself. For instance, Vale was one of the first new faces he saw. Vey were a three eyed crow, which was an oddity in and of itself. Not to mention their mannerisms which followed in suit. Some days the pup couldn’t tell whether they were here to eat him or live amongst him.
Then, there was Renlys. In truth, the pup didn’t know them well. However, he didn’t understand why they never spoke to him. Sometimes the purple lab wondered if perhaps he was an annoyance, but managed to quickly suppress the thoughts as they appeared.
Now this one, who people seemed to know already?
Hearing the name Chernabog passing the lips of those nearby, he made sure to mentally catalog it. Flicking his skeletal tail, he nodded towards them gingerly. “Hello, I’m Arfur.”
