[glow=black,1,400]IS IT OVER YET, WILL I EVER FEEL AGAIN? — 。+゚.[/glow]
Firefly was not one to usually venture so far out of her own territory.  Once, that had been because her body was restricted by limited mobility.  Now that she was unencumbered by her own limbs, she found it a little silly that she had not made her trips sooner.  The Pitt was next on her list.  With Brymstone gone with the wind, she felt as if it more acceptable to her group if she extended a friendly claw to the new Ardent.  With her as Luminary, it was only fair.  Let the new leader make their own impression.

She had sent a bird along first.  Hopefully her messenger was received in good spirits and she wasn't walking into a trap.

I'VE NEVER FEARED THE DRUMS OF WAR
OLALLA — MALE — PITTIAN — ARDENT — PLOT
Olalla sat patiently at the border that divided The Pitt from Tanglewood, jungles meeting in a gentle embrace. It had been a few days since he had sent a letter to the Luminary, attached to the leg of a Bittern, and her returning letter. The beast had requested her presence not just to meet her, but to discuss an alliance.

"Luminary Firefly," he greeted, long canines slipping past his dark upper lip to form a charming smile. "I appreciate you coming to meet me," Olalla knew how much of a title the pitt had with publicly announcing things in central territories that weren't theirs, but then again so did tanglewood considering they showed up on the borders frequently during the early stages of the war. "I did not want to startle anyone by being escorting by guards into your central territory, or cause any buried ill-will to arise again."

He cleared his throat harshly, remaining eye contact the best he could without closing his eyes while talking or using his paws to emphasize on a subject. "I've requested your presence to discuss with you an alliance between The Pitt and Tanglewood; to better ourselves than our old leaders. With new commanding figures within our groups comes a new dawn, and a new leaf turned over. As you may know, a huge portion of The Pitt's jungle was burnt during the war and i am working steadily to help regrow it in hopes of restoring the pitt to its former glory, at least territory wise." Olalla blinked a few times before continuing on from his pause.

"I understand that Tanglewood and The Pitt have never been on even decent terms, but I think that we may be able to fix that, if not long-term than at least for the duration of the regeneration process." The beast was a man of bluntness, partially because he didn't excel in small talk and because he'd rather get to the point than beat around the bush. "The Pitt asks for plant seeds, any you can scrounge up, any extra moss you may have lying around, and any earth element wielding members. We have a large supply of salt rocks, milk from our newly penned cattle, and hides from the culled ones. I am willing to negotiate trade and services in exchange for your help. "
