my anaconda do [MONSTER HUNTING] - ARSENO - 03-27-2022

[align=center]
INFO: Unnaturally giant anaconda. No need to worry about Arseno or making a party, just post the snake encounter. I'll post the snake here as a sub. They'll have a numbered health bar. I'll post a 20-sided dice for us to roll, you tell us the number you got at the top of your post and make your attack strength based on the number. Lower number, less strength, you know the drill. Each hit takes parts of the snakes health away till its defeated, or until it manages to incapacitate the crew. HAVE FUN! ?

There had been pirates disappearing without a trace in increasing numbers the past months. The animals gone missing getting larger and larger as time went by and all the more frequent. Nobody could figure out what was happening. That was until one escaped this fate.
A giant snake, more than giant, unnatural. As thick as a tree trunk and just as long. It fell from the jungle canopy straight onto Arseno. He screamed, squished into the ground by the reptiles immense weight. He was lucky his spine hadn't broke on impact, well, as lucky as he could be considering he'd soon become a meal. With that pain came rage.
Golden sparks ignited in Arseno eyes, just as quick spidering over his entire form, then to the snakes. The deep colored snake constricted, flinching, writhing as Arseno pulled himself out from under it and hauled ass, not caring to look behind him, riding on adrenaline.
Bursting through the thick jungle and onto the sandy beaches beside the Tempest Arseno howled loudly "SNAKE! GIANT FUCKING SNAKE!" before collapsing on the ground, energy drained and back so terribly sore.

Thump.

They'd landed right on target. But it seemed their prey was still alive, moving to contort its body around the canine the snake was literally shocked. Constricting, writhing, they didn't notice as their meal made haste.
After recovering from the shock the anaconda made its way slowly back up its tree, hanging in the canopy in wait for another chance to strike.

Spoiler:
The cry was heard by the king fisher wyvern; which honestly was a surprise, considering how the large beast had gone missing for quite a couple weeks at hand. Regardless, he was quick to act when he heard the cries of 'giant fucking snake'. Jotunhel practically crashed forwards, four eyes wide with concern. "Snake? Where?"

Considering that Jotunhel did not, in fact, see any snake charging out of the jungle towards the injured crewmate, and that meant that the snake was probably still in there. A part of him felt awful about just leaving someone behind, but on the other... well, it would be a lot safer if the threat was permanently dispatched personally by his own talons. It made the wyvern angry, and their four eyes squinted. With a snarl Jotunhel charged into the jungle, jaw opening up to blast pressurized water as soon as the first noodle-looking creature he encountered was seen.
