"Color of Speech and Thoughts."
there wasn't a time that she didn't question just what the hell she was doing. stopping in her path of limping, the woman looked down to the green bandana about her neck, the seashell necklace hidden under it. where was she going? what was she doing? hells, she didn't even know who she was or where she was, all that she knew was that she was walking along a railway track with water on both sides of its length. looking at the salty ocean waters on either side of the ground she walked along, a voice in her mind telling her that the water was at a low-tide. tipping her head to the side, she saw the reflection of herself moving in a similar way. frowning at that, opening her mouth, "is this me?", she asked the reflection, knowing better than to reach out and touch it because she would end up muzzle-first in the waters. shaking her head after trying to lean closer, claws digging among the pebbles and rocks before she straightened herself up. she'd woken up a few days ago and had spent the interim wandering around, trying to figure out who she was or what was going on. something about feathers ... feathers had been scattered around the place that she had awoken. those feathers looked like that of a sparrow, as the voice had whispered to her. now as she stood quietly, she heard it again like a distant whisper in a far away yet caring tone, 'go forward to the gate.' and that she did, three paws carrying the amputee forward to a pair of impressive gates standing tall to the skies, her green eyed gaze landing upon the bell just off to the side. standing for a moment more, hearing the voice continue on, 'ring it. you won't regret it.' there she paused before reaching out and taking the bell's rope in her jaws and pulling to ring it. why did she ring it? what was the reason she was here? she had been traveling and following the faint voice's instructions for so many days. faintly upon her back she could feel itching at four distinct spots, twisting her head to stare at the four small bumps upon the skin, a curious expression upon her face. little did she know that within time, those four itching bumps would grow into something greater, a remnant of a person she never knew. — through the dark tonight Re: ???? ????? ??'?? ????? ◒ joiner - ARSENO - 03-24-2022 [align=center] 'ding. ding. ding.'
The slow and low chime of a bell rang over the railroad gate. It was the first time Arseno had heard the bell. But with the muttering around the anchored Tempest he'd quickly found what the commotion was about. Someone was here. As nobody had taken the call yet and Arseno was bored as a plank the brown wolf swiftly jumped to his feet and made his way to the imposing railroad gate. What met Arsenos eyes was a creature much larger than himself. A purple feline. Not taking her formidable stature as a threat the amber-eyed animal approached jovially. "Welcome to the Typhoon. Is there something I can help you with?" |
