SOMEONE TO HEAR YOUR PRAYERS
The colder air was much welcome against his dark fur as the war god examined the sky beyond the spiked cave. A white blotch moved across his shoulders, and the gentle squeak of a rat could be heard as he shook himself gently. A low grumble left him as he stood, and Byriath glanced behind him, toward his husband. "I wonder if anyone remembers us." He queried. It had been two years since the two had left, and who knows what happened in that time.

But they were coming home, and hopefully to stay.

Saturn trailed behind Byriath, the smaller of the two humming quietly to themself as they traveled. Their ears pressed forward when he heard his husband speak, his head lifting up at the question. “I’m sure there’s still some who will but if not we’ll we can just make new bonds again!” They mused, ever so cheerful and hopeful. The snow leopard bounded closed to their husband, unseeing orbs flicking around. “I do hope there’s someone there we will know, it would be nice to walk back in there knowing at least someone.”

BURN
BRIGHT
“Good to see both of your familiar faces.” Ninazu stepped out of the foliage, her leggy serval steps leaving a trail in the melting snow.

“My body’s changed, but I’m still Ninazu.” The serval didn’t want to explain the whole dying-and-coming-back after two years in… well, wherever her soul went after death. Wherever she’d been, it’d probably been with Stryker since she missed him as if he died yesterday.
