Home is where the heart is I've been told - Eon - 03-08-2022

Eon Allure

Eon hadn't been here long, and hadn't exactly established himself as a part of Tanglewood quite yet; though hed been trying to make his mark.  Despite his distaste for the swamp, the fox had to admit he overall enjoyed it here. Perhaps it was time he established himself a bit more.

The small canine strolled through the town past the houses that were presumably built by humans long ago. He had to admit, despite the muddy waters and thicket, there was a certain allure Tanglewood had, as nature began to reclaim what was once a bustling town. It was now covered with green ivy and colorful wildflowers.

As he continued to walk, he'd eye the houses and cracking statues that once decorated the streets. Perhaps it was time he settled in a bit more. He had no qualms with Tanglewood, and he wanted to dedicate himself to their ranks. But first, he needed a place to stay.

His azure gaze scanned the buildings, trying to pick out which ones were vacant. Perhaps it would be worth asking for help from some of the more experienced members of Tanglewood since he wasn't entirely sure how the process of picking houses went. Though he had in mind, one colorful, perhaps blooming with wildflowers and soft cushions on the inside.

Eon would look around for signs of the tangelers that lived in the area

[color=purple] "If anyone could be of assistance, I would appreciate it. I have some questions about the houses."
He'd state to no one in particular but to whoever happened to hear him and would be willing to help.

straight for the throat you’re like an animal!
in for the kill, like you're an animal!

Rolling over, Ximen squinted open his eyes to find the source of whoever interrupted his nap. Once he spotted Eon—a newcomer, if he wasn’t mistaken—he grumbled to himself and stood up. Now he was awake, he might as well help Eon with finding a place to sleep. Not everyone could nap anywhere like Ximen could, though even the mutated cheetah had a home of his own.

“Questions, eh? Let’s hear ‘em.” Ximen tilted his head sharply, popping his neck vertebrae and wiggling his jaw to pop that, too. He shifted his paws, popping his toes against the ground.

“Name’s Ximen, by the way.” He tried stifling a yawn, but it overcame him. He blinked and refocused on Eon. “You’ll be more likely to see me active at night. Or in the morning. Sometimes in the afternoon? I sleep a weird schedule.”

Eon Allure

Eons bunny ears would perk atop his head as he heard a voice from beside him. His azure gaze would dart in the direction of another figure. He’d nod slightly to the feline's reply as they approached.

“I was just wondering what exactly I needed to do to claim one.”
he’d say, gaze looking back over the buildings in front of him. “And which ones were even vacant, for that matter” he’d continue, tails swinging behind him. There was a decent chunk of residents here in Tanglewood which lead him to assume many of the buildings would have already been taken.
