MONTHLY MEETING [ JULY 2021 ] - Romulus - 07-01-2021

After last month's interesting meeting, the Coalition of the Condemned's new leader figured he would arrive early and set up before the rest, only to converse with each as they arrived. Many enemies, neutrals, and potentials came every month. This one would be no different. Romulus Malus wanted to learn whatever he could about them, especially those that tended to remain sheltered away and quiet. Thus, just as he planned, the lion was the first to arrive.

The warm summer sun was at it's peak in the sky as he sauntered in. An unacceptable amount of humidity was causing a sweat to form on his dark brow, but he kept wandering in. Following his arrival through the stonehenge, the green beam rose into the sky to accompany the yellow orb that reigned heat down onto them. He internally wondered if they could reign check. It was too hot.

Shaking out his mane and letting his haunches drop, the lion sat near the front of the crowd as they piled in. Periwinkle hues watched with curiosity. A variety of interesting creatures stumbled into the neutral lands per usual. With a paw, he reached up to scratch at his forehead. A soft sigh left him. Where to start though? So many animals walked to and fro throughout the area and unlike his father, he was not a 'people person.' For a moment, he hesitated. Maybe, if he was lucky, they would come to him... or ignore him and let him observe. Whatever suited the moment.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ JULY 2021 ] - Abzu - 07-02-2021

Abzu had never been a meeting person.  Her parents had always taken care of the politics of their slice of the world, and Abzu had full faith in them to keep them safe and happy.  Now, with her mother and father gone, the world felt a lot more savage than he had originally thought.  Like their little family was no longer one-hundred percent safe.  Now, her brain was telling her that she had to be prepared.  She had to know everything.  Every leader, every member, every rank and title and who hated who and she had to make sure that she was up to date as much as possible because if not...  if she she lost focus or even dropped her guard for half a second, she would lose her brother too.

She gulped as she padded in after her brother.  Normally pleasant and calm, Abzu now felt as if she couldn't relax at all.  It was all so much.

The lioness took a deep breath.  Hold for one, two, three.  Let go, one, two, three.  Breathe in and out, it'll all be fine.  Romulus was fine, she was fine, everyone was fine.  She didn't have to worry so much all the time.  Nothing would happen at a meeting, it was a bad strategy to attack any group when everybody was gathered.  Nothing would happen, they were alright, nothing would happen, they were alright, nothing would happen...

graphic gore ★ genderfluid ★ 3-eyed crow
Flying in low, the three-eyed crow glided between two stones—lighting up a red flash into the sky—and circled above. The heat beat down upon all creatures, however, so Vale spiraled down to land in the shade.

After making a “scary face” at Coalition children (flesh oozing, teeth falling out of vis beak, the usual performance), Vale commandeered their water bowl. Sighing into the crow-sized bathtub, the ardent grumbled to verself about the heat, since when was the neutral lands as hot as the desert? Some fucking bullshit was up with the weather system, but, being a crow and all, Vale had no idea where to begin with investigating this trend.

Leaning back into the brim, Vale huffed and waved a wing at the Coalition’s kingpin. After all, Vale recognized the guy from the previous month’s. Though, to be far, every meeting was wayyyyy more boring than the first meeting Vale’d ever attended. Then again, it was hella hard to out-do yourself when your first meeting ends with you in a leader’s face and performing your first public rotting.

“Ayyyyye, you Condemned Asscracks. Tell me your home isn’t as fucking hot and goddamn miserable as this asshole’s shitstain of a humid fuckity fuck. ‘Cause, like, this? Is miserable. Fucking! Miserable! And I live next to a goddamn desert, I should know the difference between fuuuuck it’s hot and holy fuck am I in Hell?! heat.”

Honestly, with all that swearing, Vale didn’t honestly expect a real answer. This was mostly venting. Because Vale had a tendency to scream vis every thought anyway, so why should ve keep all these heat-related complaints to verself?
