Tittering and tottering the small domestic went with a large sack of books in tow. Some she had gotten from be library after getting some help and much more she had gotten from the woman that had recently visited them from the Typhoon. She'd remember her name. Rosemary. Even though she had no real reason to trust in the pirate group after no aid had been given during the Tanglewood's suffering because of the drought. An ally did not abandon another when they were in dire need. They had needed those supplies, the relief from them would have been enormous but no help had come. It was saddening to say the least. She figured that perhaps that was the reason as to why her mate had dropped them. But she also hoped that her own personal feelings didn't play too harsh of a role there. A frown was on her maw as she stumbled a bit, the weight of the books dragging her down. But she made it to their home.

She figured it needed to be redecorated a little. The massive horns of the water buffalo still hung over the door and skulls and feathers still adorned the outside. Mostly for decoration and some for protection. She enjoyed these sorts of things. Carefully she stepped up the stairs and tried to lay the books down but they all came spilling out. Tumbling everywhere. "Ugh...what a mess..." The woman sighed and stepped around the many multitude of books about herbs and their uses. Wounds and how to help them heal. Most had scribbles in them and she squinted. Attempting to try and make them out only to grow frustrated. Her tribe, the one she and Ximen herald from were not those of reading and writing things down. They sung and danced their tales. Shaking her head she looked at one full of pictures and plants, narrowing her eyes on the caption. "Ma...Margei..." The word was marigold but she couldn't begin to understand it. She was doing this to help her loving girlfriend out, to try and take the stress from her shoulders. In time she would get it but it was still frustrating not being of some use. Healing....it was harder than it looked.
