Okay. They were discovering a problem, and that problem was they didn't have too many food options in the Pitt. Dead carcasses didn't have blood pumping, so they couldn't eat them. Flowers weren't common, and so they were having to figure out how to best conserve their time. Sure, blood was a necessity for Beezlebub's continued function, but nectar could hold them over while they tried to find a willing Pittian that they could drink from for their continued survival. Trying to find the best flower to eat in this situation was a difficult one. Desert flowers, jungle plants, so many options! It would be hard to choose, and that led to Beezle having a bunch of flowers lined up. Buzzing between them, wriggling between the petals, hopping back out, to another flower, back again. Which flower would give the most energy? They sure didn't know. But hey, they were getting absolutely amazing tastes out of it! They wouldn't complain about great tasting nectar! dragon + the pitt + they/them

Re: everyone will see it ._. flower taste testing - VALE - 06-11-2021 graphic gore ★ genderfluid ★ bonehead hyena
“Are you an insect or a dragon?” Vale blurts out. Tactless, as usual, and the hyena pauses only because vis jaw aches. A paw taps the exposed bone, tap tap TAP, until smacking the bone hard enough to pop! the joint.
YOU NEVER TRUSTED ME ★ Sighing dramatically, Vale swipes vis grey tongue over pristine white fangs; ve gave up on trying to follow the zippy little dragon. Vis eyes hurt. A paw lifts up, the claws a hair’s breadth away, until Vale controls the impulse to itch and slowly lowers vis paw to the sand. “Hell, don’t let me stop you. Maybe this whole place really just needs a sustained bee population. Such a fragile keystone species couldn’t’ve had a good time after all the territory destruction from the other groups.” The hyena taps vis jaw with a claw. “Hehe. Wouldn’t that be funny. We wage war when all we need is a fucking bee to move in.” BUT I’M OVER IT NOW [sub][W]isker[/sub] Re: everyone will see it ._. flower taste testing - AEGON - 06-28-2021 ONCE YOU COMMITTED ME As Aegon walked along the group, a questionable blurt of interest caught his attention. Ah... Vale. His snake-like hues swiveled towards the shapeshifter who appeared to be a hyena currently. As ve tapped away, he came up to their side and watched as the creature before them buzzed back and forth between the choices before them. With the pop of a joint, his head jolted downwards. Odd. Readjusting himself, he continued to stare in silence. The sudden and troubling issue of oncoming death came for all, maybe even Death himself. With resources lackluster and the world becoming victim to many mistakes, there was only so much time left for everyone and it was best for them to enjoy whatever may be remaining. The same went for The Pitt's members. There were plenty of corpses to snack on, but the floral population and the water was polluted with an unknown red substance, presumably from the formerly living. For the creature before him, there didn't seem to be many options. Perhaps, Aegon thought, they could change that. "The bees are a vital part of the ecosystem," he chided back to the ardent. "Surely we could assist somehow that does not involve war." A paw attempted to reach out towards the collection of flowers before them, lighting brushing against their stems. Landing on a blue flower with rounded petals, he looked over to the other Pittian and pulled back with it between his claws. "Might we assist you somehow?" As he twiddled with the stem, he awaited an answer. NOW YOU'VE ACQUITTED ME |
