PARTNERS IN CRIME / open - Character Graveyard. - 05-21-2018 COLD NOSTALGIA [div style="width: 518px; margin-left: 30px; margin-right: auto; margin-top: -10px; margin-bottom: 0px; text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-size: 12px; color: #b1bed3; line-height: 110%"]Natasha had spent the last few days in her cabin, fixing up the interior decorations. She had left the cabin to go hunting near one of the small lakes so she would satisfy her hunger. But, she only found an odd-looking deer, lapping away at the water quickly. Before she knew it, the deer had turned around and saw her. Time seemed to freeze as the deer hit the she-wolf with it's antlers then it bit her side, leaving a bloody bite mark. The female had lie still while the deer wandered away and she let out small groans of agony. © madi

And Aizawa had thought he was bad at hunting. He didn't really enjoy doing it, the taste of metallic blood flowing through his mouth always making him retch. So he stuck to human foods, which was luckily still a thing here in this world. Thanks to Jacob, he never really went without food, and he had lost his emaciated form. He was still a bit thin, but that couldn't be helped, he figured. "Need some help?" he asks as he approaches the female, her name lost on him. They had never formally met, he doesn't think. "Aizawa Shota," he states bluntly, looking over the bite mark on her side. Hopefully it wouldn't get infected and Izuku or Jacob would get here soon. "SPEECH" Re: PARTNERS IN CRIME / open - ATBASH CIPHER. - 05-21-2018 ATBASH CIPHER light the night up, you're my dark star
Hunting large prey like deer were practically impossible in Atbash's mind, unless you were a creature like Melantha. A cougar was made to bring down large animals such as those, whereas simple cats like Atbash were not. The demon followed the scent of blood, slightly alarmed, but slowed down in her run as she came across Aizawa and Natasha. She's one of the newer ones, ain't she? She thought to herself, before mentally shaking her head. There were more important matters here than worrying about that; she was injured. "Do-do you, um... need me to fetch Jacob?" She asked, mostly towards Aizawa. bio | female | flurryhost [shp] of snowbound © madi

It wasn't uncommon for prey animals to attack predators that were going against them. Sure certain prey were more likely to run based on the speed that they were capable of running at. While certain species of prey animal were more than likely to turn around and try to run off their attacker. This usually happened with larger prey animals, such as bison, deer, moose, and other larger animals. If a predator was to go up agianst anothe predator, the predator wasn't about ot go out without a fight that easily either. The assassin had plenty of experience with hunting, as he was taught at a very young age how to catch small prey animals in the territory that his family lived in. It was part of his early training when he was younger before he moved onto different creatures that he would eventually start killing on a daily basis, and those that were more than sentient enough to deal with someone like him. At least if they were capable of fighting a Zoldyck off anyway. When it came to deer, most ungulates wanted to run away from their attackers thanks to the fight or flight response every animal had in their system. A predators goal was usually to try and get it to run away from them so that they could attack the deer from behind and make it easier on themselves. But once they got a prey animal down onto the ground that wasn't the end of it, as it would mean that they could still get kicked with a powerful leg as well. He never tried to really take down a large prey animal himself as that was more fit for those that had the right bodies to do it. Sure, he could do it himself because he had several powers that could get the job done, but what would he do with the meat? He wouldn't be able to carry the dead deer if he did kill it. The majority of his diet anyway consisted of candy rather than actually him going out to hunt, which he didn't do all that much unless he wanted to get his mind off of something and then actually try to hunt from there. He could always conjure up the food that he needed and so there was never really a reason for him to go out. Although, this could also mean that it made him a little bit lazy with all things considered. Which was fine with Killua because he had better things to do. Killua had seen all the sorts of different ways that could be injured in the clans.
But it was rare for someone to get attacked by the likes of a deer. Was it because of what had happened to the water? Maybe. Not like it was something that Killua had to worry about as he had an endless supply of water. The albino serval didn't expect anything crazy to happen today while he walked around. Again, taking another easy day so that he wouldn't completely rip through the stitches that keeping his flesh held together in the meantime. The young male blinked his sapphire blue eyes when the stench of blood filled his nostrils. Great. What had happened now? Despite not being much of a medic, the assassin had enough knowledge when it came to patching up wounds. In the past, he probably wouldn't have cared if someone got injured, but a lot has happened since then. He wasn't going to let someone gets injured and bleed out to death while he was around. The male quickly began to pick up his pace so that he would be there in a couple moments. Familiar scents mingling around as he followed the scent trails to the scene. Of course, the massive creature that walked behind him was attentive to what was going on. The 11ft Hellhound seemed to be following the albino serval everywhere he went, and those that were around when it appeared would know that it was from his family. A guard dog. Nothing more nothing less. One that wasn't capable of speech or emotion, and was only there to keep Killua safe. The Snowstriker skidded to a stop at the scene and noticed that it was Natasha that was on the ground. Bleeding from a bite wound. Aizawa and Atbash were also there. The hell had happened? That would be the usual question he would have asked, but he might as well take care of Natasha instead of asking pointless questions. Killua looked at both the other Snowbounders before stopping at Natasha's side where he began to conjure up the needed supplies. A bucket of water, a washcloth, gauze, bandages, and a thread and needle. He could stitch up the wound on his side if it was deep enough but he was going to have to check to make sure that it wasn't needed. "I'm gonna clean your wound okay? Do you know what it attacked you and why?" Killua questioned, hoping to keep the questions to occupy the other's mind. He doubted that she would die from a wound like this after all. Dipping the washcloth into the water, he kept the washcloth into his mouth and aimed to wipe the areas around the wound as carefully as possible. snowbound -- snowstriker -- male -- 8 moons [sub]template © olivan
