Sojourn had likely forgotten about the tradition in her descent into madness, but Aphra certainly did not. While this was something usually done during meetings, Aphra believed that in this case, since there were so many newcomers, that it might be best for her to just lay out some pelts and have the new Wanderers select whichever pelt they wanted. The slime dragonets were included in this, too, of course, though they likely wouldn't fit into the pelts for a long time (and likely would outgrow them).

"Wanderers!" Aphra called out, settling near the bonfire pit with dozens of pelts laid out in front of and behind her. "I would like all newcomers to step forward and select a pelt for them to keep. If any older Wanderer wishes to grab a new pelt as well, you are more than welcome to."[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

The deer in headlights look that Solsken had was amusing, though Aphra tried to hide that glint in her eye whenever he got closer. "Yes, it can get rather cold here, especially during winter months." Which weren't for some time, luckily, but something to still prepare for regardless. "It's a tradition for the Kingpin for give out fur pelts, and its been a while since that has been done. Aphra watched Solsken grab a pelt without another word, though when Inferno came over and said 'please', the succubus had to hold back a snort. Inferno did ask a question though, one that deserved to be answered. Light and thin, but warm. Aphra echoed to herself for a moment, her gaze scanning through the pelts scattered about on the ground. "This one, perhaps?" The she-cat suggested, getting up and moving towards a leopard pelt, looking back at Inferno to see what she thought.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

"Sure, its yours. I don't care what you do with it." Aphra responded with a shrug. It wasn't her right to tell anyone what to do with her personal belongings, personally. Blankets would be useful to those able to generate their own body heat. It would trap the warmth that escaped from endotherms, and slowly and steadily keep the body temperature from dipping too low. Anthemtalon, of course, had to rely on the sun and surroundings in order to keep warm. A gift, though? The lizard would and could not allow such an opportunity to pass. If anything, it nestled an idea in his simplistic mind for later.

The bonfire was so nice and warm that it took Anthemtalon a few moments to remember the call that had brought him over. "Big ones? Any?" Would be the lazy lizard's question, a talon raised to gently nudge one of the closer pelts.

Ah, right. Anthemtalon still existed, huh. Truthfully, Aphra had pushed the lazy lizard to the back of her hand; honest to God, she didn't know how the hell the guy was a semi-high position. Dumbass probably doesn't even realize it. At least the slime children were smarter than this guy, including Lethe. "Something that would fit you?" Aphra echoed Anthemtalon's question, a hum in her tone as she gazed around the mess of coats again.
