AETHER | house hunting - westley h. - 05-22-2021 When one grew accustomed to travel, they grew accustomed to sleeping wherever there was a place to rest. Calling a specific house or den 'home' grew into a distant memory. So it was with the clouded leopard, despite the fact he had been among the Pitt a few weeks now.
He had yet to claim a place specifically for his own. Westley hardly saw it as a grave issue, since he was more than comfortable sleeping in the branches of the jungle canopy. The longer he remained however, he realized he may pick up a few possessions and the convenience of his own place grew more and more obvious. Let's see here. The paleblood hummed quietly as he wandered around the Pitt's camp, hazel gaze scanning the various empty treehouses. The caves had plenty of dens available, but he preferred the fresh air and higher vantage point of the trees. And I'll want room for some books of course. And a kitchen... **Monachopsis (n.) —-- westley hawkins / paleblood / penned by petrichor Re: AETHER | house hunting - gael - 05-22-2021 ♛ | GAEL Ó BROIN It had been three years ago since the vulpine arrived in the Pitt. Early within his stay he had chosen a home; mostly concerned about giving Aine a place to rest. Not all were parents however and the Ardent could understand taking their time, although he he did blink at Westley as he trotted down the steps of his treehouse -- catching onto his search with relative ease."Hawkins," Gael greeted curtly, inclining his head. It was nice to have a place to call home. Particularly for a long time. Brought a sense of ownership. Comfort. Safety. Even if it wasn't the place she'd been born, the treehouse had more than become her home. Although, she spent a majority of her time in the White Temple, as no doubt expected of the fleshweaver.

She'd been on her way to the temple when she noticed her father and Westley, blinking once before trotting over. Ears perked curiously. House hunting? That was exciting, she supposed. Or just practical. "Salut, Westley," she offered softly. Mind on the matter at hand, her hazel hues flickered over the treehouses, including her own. She preferred them to living underground for sure, despite her connection to the earth. They just... Felt more like a house. "Da an I have- have lived there since we joined," she motioned with a smile. With the mural on the side, it was an easy to spot home. Part of why she loved it. "...
