Being a succubus and being a daughter of the infamous Caesar Cipher (who notoriously came back from death often), it was probably no surprise that Aphra was... relatively fine after the raid. Although the Warlord certainly wasn't conscious for the rest of the fight, her spirit had went back to possess her main body - and Aphra was just now coming back to consciousness. As the oriental longhair awoke, she gasped for breath, expecting pain to explode through her, but instead there was nothing... She had a slight headache, sure, but she was alive.

Aphra laid in her bed for a couple of moments however, trying to recover from what happened. She remembered how her heartbeat had been pounding in her head, and the pain she felt for a split second as Roxanne tugged her limbs in two separate directions. Fortunately Aphra had lost consciousness pretty soon after that and therefore didn't really get to experience the pain she would have felt, but it was still... a lot to think about. Even if it wasn't a body that Aphra particularly cared about, it was a rather traumatic death.

Eventually Aphra got to her paws and walked out of her home, though as she stepped outside, she leaned against her home, her legs still shaky. Fuck... Aphra cursed to herself, trying to control her trembling body. There was still blood, guts, and gore surrounding the Coalition's camp, which gave her the impression that this was... only a couple hours or so after The Typhoon had left, presumably getting their Crewmates back. Maybe if Aphra wasn't so shaken up right now, she'd be angry.

The camp was certainly vile looking, blood and guts and bone decorating the place in the worst possible way, at least the dead had been buried during the mudslide. And while Angel despised the sickening remains, he had a gut feeling that most were either too exhausted, too bonkers, or too dead to assist. He understood those who were gradually going nuts, but he couldn’t follow them down. No, he wouldn’t allow himself to slip, and besides, they would need all the conscious and sane help that could be provided. One of which had apparently just woken up after a rather terrible demise. Aphra might have been a bitch, but she wasn’t going crazy to his knowledge and no one really deserved to be pulled apart.

The sound of an opening door got his attention, pulling what was once inside someone off one of the house walls, grimacing and quickly tossing it to the side, where he was building a little pile of mismatched organs and remains of the unidentified. They could bury the bodies, the pieces were going to have to be discarded. ”How are you feeling, Mama?” Angel asked, looking over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of the oriental longhair. He hadn’t been expecting total annihilation of the woman, she switched bodies too often to leave the impression of complete fatality.

Aphra would be helping with gathering up the remains of those that died, if it weren't for how dizzy she felt. It would take a couple of hours to be able to return to normal, but at the very least she wasn't dead. She had no idea of Sojourn's sudden madness spiral, considering she hadn't even noticed Michael's death (and if she had, she probably would have enjoyed it; she hated Michael). Ears twitched as Angelembrace spoke to her, as if she was trying to understand what her son said.

"Disoriented, I guess." Aphra replied. "I'm... guessing I'm still in shock or something." She didn't know science-y terms or whatnot like Arvid did, so she wasn't sure if 'shock' was what she was feeling but it was. Definitely something. Dizzy and light-headed.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

What could a dragonet do to help in this case? Aphra wasn't sure, but it was rather nice of Lethe to offer regardless. Aphra blinked down at the dragonet, answering in a soft tone, "Get me some water, please. Take Angelembrace or another adult with you if you have to go outside camp."
