Things were starting to settle down after the flash flood, much to Horizon's relief. The Tasmanian devil was slowly getting more relaxed as things slowed down and it was obvious that the river wasn't going to suddenly flood again. Not that anyone could really predict whether or not it would flood in the first place; it was called a flash flood for a reason, after all.
Before the flood happened, Auberon had been teaching Horizon how to create a weapon, though the devil hadn't gotten the chance to really do much back then. And so, since he had free time now and was relatively okay after the flood, Horizon decided to work on making himself a small dagger.

The follow up to the flood has been a troubling time, with injuries that the Valereader had to scramble to heal. The cleanup itself had been arduous and long, thought now that things were settled, the group was getting back into the swing of things. Exhaling, the Sage would stretch as he reached the ground, picking up on Horizon's scent as the first in the area for the morning. Following after it with a curious trill, the akhlut would tip his head, watching the devil while blinking sleep from his eyes, "Horizon? What are you doing up this early?", maybe the other was a better morning person than he was.

Horizon's small ears twitched at the sound of someone approaching, turning his head to look at Auberon as the Sage made his way over. "Oh, just making a lil' dagger for myself. Just something to do, I guess." He let out a small laugh; he definitely wasn't a morning person. But sleepless nights were a bitch.
