It wasn't as simple as being passed out - no, she could hear everything and wanted to interact with everyone. It could be considered somewhat similar to sleep paralysis, only in that you're unable to move your body or open your eyes. She was terrified the whole time, her body locked in a coma. She knew time had passed, and pain wracked her body most days. She knew her mate was at her side as long as he could be. She knew her children were there too, she could catch their scents and hear their voices. The newest one was an unfamiliar scent of a female, a vixen's scent. She might have been in some state of sleep when the other woman had been introduced to her and vice versa but the smell of herbs on her pelt helped her to feel less anxious. Now, however many days, weeks, months had passed, she was getting her ability to move back. It came first in her toes and made its way up her body with numb prickles. Moving her toes caused her stomach to roll, having been laying down this whole time. A pained groan would leave the parched throat, pain thoroughly lacing her scent, head pounding alongside her back. One of her wings was set, she didn't know whod done it but the lingering scent suggested her mate. Her head felt the worst, she could barely even open her eye, the aching on the other side of her head and the lack of response from those nerves told her of her loss. "Any ... Anybody here...?", she would croak, unable to tell her surroundings. Of course, Moth had been tired and sick, but she had also been scared, so instead of exploring the area as she was told she'd be allowed to do, she simply did her work and waited by the side of the sleeping female. There was no reason not to, and even if she could hear the mumbling that Moth did as she sat there working on the other, talking to herself about various different things, she couldn't respond and speak to her, at least not at the time being. Eventually, Moth had found herself growning comfortable enough to sleep, and as the work she could do for the other lessened the more she stayed with her, she found herself sleeping more and more, unsure if it was because of her being sick or just because she was tired from work and catching up. In fact, in that moment she had been dozing off, ears swiveling once every few minutes to see if anyone was around her as she drifted off, eyes snapping open in a state of drowsiness as the words from the other reached her ears. It was an unfamiliar voice and the scent of a sharp tinge of pain caused Moth to stand up, carefully making her way over to the other, head turning away from the female as she coughed before turning back. "It's ok, you're ok." She would wheeze out, "I'll get you something for the pain, you sound parched too I can get you some water..." Or she could see if someone else was able to. She'd grown comfortable enough around those here that she knew that she wouldn't be harmed, which was good, but she wasn't sure what would happen now that the one she was supposed to help was awake. The whole reason Moth was brought to The Frostblown was because of Margaret. Horizon wasn't really comfortable with the decision that Auberon made, to capture a group's medic and bring them here. Fortunately Auberon demanded that no one hurt Moth, but Horizon couldn't help but feel as if Moth was staying here to spy. To get back at them. It was strange that Tanglewood hadn't come to retrieve her yet, wasn't it? Maybe they don't know where to go. After all, living on a mountain definitely had its dangers and you could very easily get lost. As Horizon passed by the home, he heard the sounds of coughing and someone - Moth - speaking. "Is Margaret up?" The devil called, knocking at the door. He didn't want to really intrude, but he was also heavily curious to see if she was conscious. It'd been a while since she was knocked out and although Horizon had never really properly met Margaret, she was still a clanmate; of course he was concerned. transmale | greenhorn of the frostblown | "speaking" | thoughts
Re: you got a bad reputation ➺ waking, open - teef - 05-23-2021 DO YOU MIND IF I WILD OUT AUBERON -- MASC/NONB. -- THE FROSTBLOWN -- SAGE -- MEDIUM DIFFICULTY Auberon, the akhlut in question, who had made the brash decision in the first place, had been visiting the home fairly often, or at least, the area outside of it. He couldn't help the concern and worry, Margaret was his little sister after all, even if they weren't related. She was also looking after a litter, he couldn't help but be concerned for her pups with her being in the condition thst she was. He wordlessly followed after Horizon's voice, stirred from his own nap in the sun, paws numb and cold with anticipation. If Margaret was awake ... maybe things would be good from here on out. Swallowing anxiously as he came closer, awaiting the same answer as Horizon. Despite her inquiry, she couldn't help the fluffing of her coat in startled response. Calming herself in response to the interaction, blue and white eye closing with a whimper of pain. Oh, now it was all coming to take her in it's vicious hold. She would remain as still as she could, croaking, "Water would be nice ... please..." Well, this was awkward, she had no clue who she was, though she knew that they were at home, the area smelt like the group. She could hear faint voices from outside, her senses barely registering the building around them. Wherever she was in camp, it was nice. "Who?", she tried to ask Moth's identity, her voice cracking and dying on her lips. Damn. "That's Moth. She's a Tanglewood medic." Horizon called out to Margaret, answering her question on who the stranger was that was next to her. "I'll go get some water," The cracking in the woman's voice was awful to hear, and just getting water shouldn't be that hard. He didn't have to even go to the river either, there was likely some small ponds or lakes in the territory, right? Without waiting for a response, the Tasmanian Devil turned around and went off to collect some. transmale | greenhorn of the frostblown | "speaking" | thoughts
