MONTHLY MEETING [ MAY 2021 ] - trojan g. - 05-01-2021

[align=center][div style="max-width: 415px;text-align: justify;font-family: times new roman;font-size: 10pt;line-height: 116%;text-indent: 35px;"]Although Ruven didn't know it, the last time a Coalition member was the first one to show to the monthly meeting spot, there had been bloodshed and deaths. It had been Stryker at that time, in the middle of war and takeovers, and eventually when everyone left they had left sad and angry, wanting to give the Coalition a piece of their mind and make sure they suffered for their wrongdoings. Ruven hadn't been told exactly what had happened during the battle with the other groups on the island, but he had heard small stories. It was still something the older members of the Coalition - especially the NPC's - spoke of, the giant fight that had killed his grandfather and made it so his home was where it was now.

He'd never been to the meeting place before today. Ruven had wanted to see the other groups for a while now, curious about them and why it had been said that they weren't allowed to go to the other territories. So, when he had spoken to one of the NPC's about it - something he did often and had recently lead to bad things, oops - he had been given directions to go to the meeting place in the middle of the neutral territories, a place where he wouldn't have to worry about fighting or anything, since he didn't have any training in that.

It had failed to been mentioned to him that it was likely he wouldn't get too many friendly conversations coming his way.

Re: MONTHLY MEETING [ MAY 2021 ] - Ares - 05-01-2021

ARES THERVOS
Her first meeting. There was no anxiety, no nervousness, just a heavy dread. She was tired and hurting in ways she never wanted. She shook her fur, which was becoming slightly straw-like as the heat within Tanglewood got worse and worse, and looked out over the meeting place. Needless to say, she was impressed. And then she saw Ruven, and an uncomfortable feeling settled in her. As she dropped into the area under the tree, she kept her distance, but sat down. "...mmHello." She mumbled, tail lashing at the scent. Last time she had the displeasure of smelling that scent was when her wings were taken.

During her time in Tanglewood, Chalice had heard about these monthly meetings and she was rather excited to be able to go to one. Chalice followed after Ares, noting how uncomfortable the girl looked, but not exactly knowing why. Perhaps if she knew that Ruven was from the Coalition, she would understand. Instead, Chalice broke off from following her clanmate and instead just took a random seat in the crowd, wrapping her tail around her paws.[glow=white,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

The existence of multiple people from different groups in one place wasn't a foreign concept to the former rouge, but to this extent, where rules were in place and it was less of just gathering to make yourself less of a vulnerable target, that much was something she hadn't seen. Was there a code on how to behave as well? Guess she'd find out, carefully tread somewhat to make sure she didn't cause any embarrassment for Winterhymns and her new home, yeah?

"Damn! What a walk, my calves better be lookin' fire if this is at least once a month every month, Winny." Sunsetpaw snorted, stretching until her joints popped. The pink shades upon her face glinted in the light, which she had debated on wearing to such an event, if only briefly. The end result, obviously, was that she wanted to look her best in the presence of strangers and had to be the hottest bitch on the meeting block. Priorities, you know.
