A dark figure shifted through the foliage, their pelt almost completely blending in with the dark if it were not for the few vibrant colored markings on the coat. Most would describe the body as a creature of the sunset which could be true to an extent. Alas the hybrid was more comfortable under the light of the moon, finding comfort in her rays. Unbeknownst to him there would be a reason for this, one that would come to light in the future. A soft simple tune soon sounded from the figure, the song a lonely melody.

Kainan made his way across the path that had slowly begun to appear the more that it was walked across with each patrol that was taken. Tonight would've been the perfect night to sleep under the stars with his tribemates that slept outside but sadly he didn't have the luxury of being nightmare free tonight and so he chose to go on a patrol around the territory to make sure everything was still as they should be.

An ear swiveled back at the sound of another approaching, the fur in the back of Kainan’s neck bristling before the familiar scent of Vanya drifted across. He stopped in his tracks, turning towards the Realm Jumper, tilting his head slightly at the called out greeting. “Hello Vanya, I’m surprised to see you awake,” he greeted.

His lungs and heart ached to continue the song he was singing but the hybrid refrained from doing so, his conversation with the feline now more important. His gaze flicked up towards the moon briefly before settling back on the feline in front of him.
