Arlo must have missed the introduction of this character. Quite literally, he hadn't been at the border when this particular member arrived. Of course, he didn't mind. He hadn't gotten the chance to introduce himself quite yet, being busy with some other range of things. But just as he had landed from his early patrol, his ears swiveled, picking up on the screaming in the cave. His ears flattened, rushing into the cave, his wings tucking against his back.

Coming upon the scene, he almost flinched away. Raising his voice, the Vanguard spoke solidly, making sure the cavern heard. "Give them space. They don't want to be touched." Arlo said, raising his wings and beating them once. Watching the NPC's back off for the most part, Arlo stepped forward. He respectfully gave Sethiram space, sitting down and tucking his wings around him as he sat down. Quietly, he spoke, making sure not to startle to the other. "My name is Arlo. Can I help you at all? If you need time alone, I can find you a closed space to relax." Arlo said quietly.

Screaming. Desperate pleading, and the unpleasant sound of sobbing. It all reached Fraggle's ears as he walked within the cavern, his entire body recoiling on instinct. Was someone hurt? Were they under attack? What was going on? With a few short steps, the boy was able to make his way over to where Sethiram sat, curled up into a ball with many others watching over him. The lion cub wasn't exactly sure what had set this entire thing off, but it did fill him with relief to see that the other wasn't hurt. Not physically, at least. He opened his muzzle to speak, hoping to offer up some kind of comforting words, or advice, but he was cut off by Sethiram's request. A pencil and paper? He could do that. He kept said supplies around, just in case Aesior ran out of them at some point. Frag had doubted that the other ever would, but now he was glad he had decided to keep them anyways.

Darting off to his section of the cavern, Fragglerock dug through his sparse pile of things, eventually pulling out a pad of writing paper, and a pencil. He carried both over to Sethiram, slipping quietly through the crowd and placing them in front of the still shaking male. As he took a step back, the lion muttered softly, "Uh... here. I have some extras..." He then shifted around a little, claws scraping lightly at the stone floor beneath him. Even Cleopatra's uncaring and cold presence nearby wasn't enough to distract him from Seth's plight. After a moment of hesitation, Fraggle spoke up once more, "Are you okay? Is there... is something going on, with you?" He'd feel a strange sense of kinship with the other, in this moment. While his nightmare hadn't exactly been a hallucination, it had certainly been disorienting and upsetting, and it remained in the back of his mind even now. At the moment he was lucky he could even deal with Cleopatra being nearby, without imagining her corpse laid against the unfeeling rock plateau outside.

Arlo's ears twitched as he waited patiently for the other to come to terms. His gaze shifted gently towards Fraggle, giving the smaller mammal a smile as the paper was dug up. He was a good kid, Arlo told himself. A gaze was traded with Cleopatra for a moment, before he looked back towards the new member. Arlo's wings shifted gently, and before he could say anything else, he was speaking again. His ears pushed forward gently, and his eyebrows rose.

"Gods, you say?" Arlo said quietly. He hadn't.. come face to face with any new gods yet, and he was thankful that he hasn't. From what he heard, they're awful full of themselves. He exhaled gently, his wings shifting, before he inclined his head. "It sounds awful. I'm sorry you had to go through that." He stated. Arlo picked his head up. "Everybody return to your tasks. There isn't anything to see here." He looked towards the crowd, voice firm and unwavering. NPCs muttered and mumbled, stepping away with curious glances back- but at least they were gone.

Arlo looked back forward, giving Fraggle a pat with his wing.

He was the last to show up currently, too far to have heard the screams until they echoed outside the bounds of camp. Tom charging back to camp, his gaze slipping and sliding over bodies in the way, shouldering his way through as he listened to the words. Something about gods. His heart clenched for the boy, finally allowed through the crowd by dispersing bodies. He noticed the paper and pencils, blinking slowly as he let the situation sink in.

He'd been late but the conversation of gods .... yes, the gods were horrible. most of them were, and most of them didn't care for the mortals or disposed of immortals that they cast out from their society. Exhaling softly, lingering in the back. He doubted he would know the gods this one spoke of but he served for his own God of death. The gods were cruel. Shaking his paw slightly as it twinged, watching with soft eyes. "I'm sorry little one. We will protect you from them.", he tried to offer comfort with telepathy.

Gods...? For some reason, the mere mention of gods and their power was enough to make Fraggle stiffen, the boy suddenly feeling breathless. He didn't know why, though. It wasn't as if he had ever encountered a god himself. And yet... he felt so fearful. He felt like he could sympathize with Sethiram's plight, on a level that the other couldn't even begin to understand. Flashes of booming voices, soft white wings, and a flood of the world's suffering... and then it was gone. Shooed away by the gentle touch of Arlo's wing against his back. He was snapped back to reality, and endlessly grateful for it. Hoping that his sudden frozen state hadn't been too obvious, the cub then turned, offering Arlo a small smile.

When he turned his attention back to Seth, the boy spoke with a surprising sense of confidence, "Don't worry... they won't get to you here. We take care of our own in The Golden Eye, and that isn't gonna change for anyone, god or not. I know... I know that won't completely stop the nightmares, or the worries, but I hope it can give you some comfort. At least?" Fragglerock's words were a bit clumsy, but they were also incredibly genuine as well. He really did want Sethiram to feel safe and secure within The Golden Eye, and there was no way he was going to let anything jeopardize that. Sure, the boy was fairly sure he wasn't anywhere near strong enough to take on a god, but... that wouldn't stop him from trying.
