HELLO MY HONEY ☆ devraj - ARVID R. - 04-26-2021

Devraj was... someone that Arvid didn't know a lot about, honestly. He had only seen the other once or twice before, and usually in rather unique situations, such as when Saturn had been upset and needed comforting. Devraj had seemed rather helpful in that scenario, caring for the other in a way that seemed to clash with his outward appearance. Still, the dire wolf hadn't questioned it, mainly because he saw no reason to. As long as Saturn got the help he needed, Arvid didn't care who was providing it. Besides, personally the pup thought that whatever was going on between Devraj and Laeglin was much more interesting. The two seemed to have a familial relationship, along with the both of them being away from each other for quite a while. He had said that he was Laeglin's... uncle, Arvid recalled. Laeglin hadn't seemed to know much about him, though. It was an interesting scenario, made even more intriguing by the fact that the canine had always been invested in familial relationships. Ever since he had been dragged away from his own birth family, anyways.

The reason why Arvid had decided to seek out Devraj was simple – he was curious. What with Laeglin's recent incident involving that whole dead body and the armor it wore, the young scientist thought that perhaps he could squeeze a bit of information out of Dev. After all, Arvid liked being informed about his fellow wanderers, and he also liked knowing what not to bring up around them. He didn't want to set someone off and cause them to go off into some kind of depressive spiral, or worse, one fueled by anger. This was why, when the dire wolf had spotted Devraj returning to camp one day, he had decided that it was time to pounce. Getting up from his seated position in front of his home, he moved over to where the other was, clearing his throat before he spoke, "Hey! You're, uh... Devraj, right? Can I talk to you for a bit? It's about Laeglin, actually." He hoped that was direct enough – and that the other wouldn't be too bothered by the interruption.
