A little bit of love advice and a whole lot of gossip // Arrow

The heat was growing stronger and anyone with half a mind could tell that it was getting worse. The water was dropping and the prey were leaving and so many other things were starting to happen, but what could they do? Honestly probably nothing or at least the panther didn't have any ides. Currently said panther was resting in the shallow end of the beach's water, trying to take in as much coolness as they could. They were a bit surprised that no one else had shown up yet but at the same time they were thankful for the time to theirself.

Lust lifted their head up from the water before letting out a sigh and fully lifting their body up from the water. They shook out their pelt before heading off towards a shaded area, plopping down underneath a tree with a groan. The heat was growing to be too much even for the panther but they would have to wait it out and just hope for the best along with the rest of the group.

The heat was, for Arrow, unbearable. Perhaps funny given the fact she was wearing the body of a cheetah, a creature normally known for living in hotter climates, but she was cheating. It wasn't her birth body nor had she ever lived in such a place, she had been in this swamp her entire life, and for her entire life it had always been wet, humid, and shady. In every sense of the word. So the heat was both foreign, unusual, and absolutely kicking her ass.

"Fuckin' stupid ass heat, kiss my fucking ass you stupid sun, i'll fuckin' fight you and your bitch ass heat waves, I don't give a FUCK!" Hissing and spitting as if personally offended by the heat, Arrow had initially missed the emergence of Paradox out of the water, the pelt of the large feline partially to blame as well. Good camouflage. It really wasn't until she got close to them, brushing a leg against some of the dead foliage, that she spotted the newcomer. No one could forget a green panther, right? "Oh, there you are." Arrow mumbled to herself, almost as if she was running on more autopilot than actually recognizing them being there. The heat, it was this damn heat.

The panther turned their head towards Arrow when they heard the cheetah cursing ag the son. A chuckle would tumble past their lips, a grin gracing their features as they watched the other. Their head tilted to the side when Arrow found them, grin still in place. “Aww were you lookin’ for little ole me?” They purred, their words laced with teasing.

They straightened their head back out with a small shake, shifting the fur along their neck to rid themselves of the water a bit more. “You should take a dip in the water it’ll help cool you off temporarily,” they mused to Arrow. This would’ve been perfect time for the green bean to flirt with the other but Arrow was fully aware of her relationship with Elsweyr and Paradox didn’t play with those who were taken.
