Drayden hadn't been born in The Palm Glades, though he had been born in a similar territory. The Typhoon was his birthplace, though he never really felt at home there. Aphra, his mother, had quickly abandoned him upon realizing his twisted paw was something that was going to stick with him forever, and many NPCs cast glances towards him - mostly pity, something Drayden got frustrated at. Even if he was harsh to himself over his twisted paw, he didn't want pity. He could handle himself. That's why he ran off from The Typhoon, quickly abandoning the pirates to, ironically, come to join their ally, another ocean-dwelling group. Here, Drayden felt like he was actually wanted and appreciated. It was a good feeling.

The Survivor on the other hand, seemed as if they were a complete stranger to this land. Not to mention their outlandish appearance. Drayden didn't judge of course, though the cat certainly was odd-looking. They spoke weirdly about things, seeming accustomed to some sort of traditions that never existed. It was intriguing, even if Drayden always cast weird glances at The Survivor whenever they said something out of the ordinary. "What're you trying to do?" The snow leopard asked as he approached the mutated feline, his head tilted as he watched them try to sharpen the pole with a clam. "I don't think a clam will do anything to that."[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]
