COME COME KITTY KITTY // clean-up patrol - APHRA CIPHER . - 04-06-2021

Aphra was, quite honestly, getting tired of being in the makeshift camp that they had made whenever the mudslide first happened. She was tired of the mud, tired of the grime, tired of just being a god damn mess all of the time. "Everyone." The she-cat cleared her throat as she came back into camp, shaking her fur out to clear out some of the debris. "I'm going to lead a small clean-up patrol so we can work on getting back into our actual camp. Who wants to come?" Well, she didn't even want to be doing this herself, honestly, but clearly someone needed to step forward and suggest things.

Sure she didn't like helping her mother do anything nor wished to do anything with her, Inferno was tired of living in their current shithole of a makeshift-camp. She much preferred the one when she first joined, before the mudslide happened that made everything a mess. "I'll come, ma." The female said with a simple shrug.

He was expected to help. That was part of the requirement for his stay, wasn't it? He tried to recall, but such a thing was utterly exhausting. If he was to help clean, then he was going to need all of his energy ready for the actual task at hand rather than wasting it with something as absurd as critical thinking.

The komodo monitor heaved himself on over. Maybe it wouldn't be too tiring. Cleaning up was quite the foreign task to him, and so he waddled on over and flickered his tongue as if somehow it constituted some sort of greeting. Truly it was more habit than anything, to constantly perform the action. He settled for a small gesture of his head as an actual greeting rather than trying to form one verablly. "Helping," Anthemtalon grunted.

Cleaning. It was something that they had to do in order to get back to where they were. To make things right. Their camp was as far as she knew not completely destroyed but it definitely needed a little elbow grease. She tilted her head a bit and looked down at her paws. Her powers were still intact even after this bizarre body change. So she was sure she would be able to make the process just a little bit faster. After all moving a bit of mud out of the way shouldn't be that much of a problem. The Kingpin stepped forward with a soft hum in her voice as she made her way over. A song in her chest. Yes, things would get back on normal she was sure of it. She just had to entice the normalcy or force it. "I'll coke along. I'm sure there is plenty that we need to do."

Sojourn wasn't someone she minded being around, though Inferno was a different story. But of course, Aphra wasn't going to complain, considering she was not going to do this on her own. Aphra stared down at Anthemtalon for a moment, a frown on her face, as if she had her doubts on him being able to help - but she forced herself to overlook that. "Alright then, let's go. If anyone else wants to join, they can just follow us." The she-cat stated flatly before she walked off towards the direction of the Coalition's actual camp.

Aphra grimaced once she reached camp, a disgusted look on her face as she gathered in everything that had been destroyed or moved by the mudslide. This was... going to take a while, wasn't it?[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

Camps were something foreign to Anthemtalon. Lots of things were; being a simple minded lizard that up until a couple days ago had been living on his lonesome would affirm such a thing. He had a large size to thank for being able to keep up with the one leading the cleaning mission, since being left behind would be rather counter productive to the whole idea of actually getting to the location and cleaning up. An excuse it could have been, Anthem realized far too late, a chuffed noise following the thought.

Even for someone who had not once lived in an established place of living, the simple lizard could definitely tell that things did not seem to be correctly in place. Moved, but how? Why? Probably wind, the answer came smoothly after a brief moment of pondering. "Messy," the komodo monitor huffed, a vague movement of his head gesturing to the destroyed and damaged items. Maybe he was supposed to just pile them all together? Anthemtalon didn't know where certain things were supposed to go, and not a second thought was given before he sauntered off to do just that.

[align=center][div style="max-width: 415px;text-align: justify;font-family: times new roman;font-size: 10pt;line-height: 116%;text-indent: 35px;"]Ruven had thought the whole time he had been here that the temporary camp that the Coalition members called home was simply the home that they had chosen to live in for whatever reason. He didn't understand why at the time, given that it was messy and crowded and seemed last minute - even at his young age he could tell what was sloppy work to be done quickly and sloppy work that was just to be sloppy - but he hadn't questioned it. He didn't think that questioning his new living conditions was a good thing to do considering he had been welcomed in to the Coalition, and he didn't want for his new friends to dislike him due to the questions he had thought of, so simply kept his mouth shut.

Come to find out that wasn't their normal home, and almost no one liked where they were currently living. When Ruven found out about that he almost let a sigh of relief leave him. Hearing the call from Aphra about cleaning up the old camp, the child had thought about not coming over to help. He was small and wasn't that much help in the long run with things considering his age, but eventually he thought better of it and decided to come over, ears pricked as he looked around at those around him. So far he knew everyone there and he liked that a lot, especially when he saw that Sojourn was coming along to help the while feline clean the former camp.

Quickly taking step behind his mother, the lion cub would wrinkle his nose for a moment when he saw what the camp actually looked like, covered in dried mud and grime. He didn't know things had gotten shifted - hadn't been there before - but he could tell things were, well, off, given that so many things were so close together. Looking between Rho and Aphra for a moment the child would finally speak up, "What do you want me to do?" He wanted to be helpful, just wasn't sure how.
