A funeral had been done, the deceased laid to rest. Not in the way she would have normally done it but in their way to honor their traditions. It was for them she supposed. Not truly for herself and she hoped that things got better in some way for everyone that had been able to say their last wishes. As the day progressed on the lioness was preparing something, something to help herself more than anything. While she could not do the funeral as she thought it or at least wished it to have been done she could have a small ceremony of her own. Taking her time she put a few items into the basket she had found. Making sure she had everything before she left the house. She needed to also gather some things for Arrow's injuries but she knew that her love would be okay till she got back.

The trek to the graveyard was not that long. One in which she knew like the back of her paw now. Her tail was held low and ears angled back as she entered the place where the dead roamed, and rested. The gravestones were marked and they were fresh. Here she came to a stop and she sat down before the place. It was odd for her to know that bodies were just left to rot in the ground. But she took a deep breath and she slowly sat down a bundle of bloodroot. Careful to have wrapped the bundle. It was here that she waved her paw over it to start a sudden burn and then extinguish to cause the bundle of herbs to smolder. Her eyes lifted lifted up and she closed them. Beginning a soft hum, a slow chant. "May they find peace and rest within His Void. May their paws walk with the Great Devourer for they have lived a life of hardships and now it is their turn to know this peace, this stillness. Cipactli watches over them within the Beyond."
