What a surprise this was. What a strange occurrence really. She hadn't expected the Typhoon welp to come back here and have one of her own vouch for her. It didn't make much sense and her mind spiraled to darker things. Betrayal, underhanded disguise to try and usurp her throne. Yet the woman merely stood to her paws as she curved her way around the village fountain. Her eyes looked upon the kid then and she tilted her horned cranium. "Well then..." The lioness began, her voice dripping with venom as her light pink gaze settled on both of the two individuals in front of her. So unexpected. "You can tell me just exactly why I should let you join. After all you did come from our biggest enemy. And I don't want any spies just walking around here. Or I'll be picking you from my teeth. So speak up, hon." They had murdered her family after all, struck down her father and her mother...simply left them as far as she knew.

A new recruit? The sound of that was pleasing, but the subject was fishy. Romulus exchanged his soft gaze with Sojourn as he finally settled nearby, debating the subject internally. The Typhoon wasn't exactly his favorite subject, nor his sister's, if it was obvious. The group had decimated their chance at a new home and killed their parents with a flick of their claw, making them one of the lion's least favorite places, even if he didn't like to generalize. Even so, hearing Aphra's demands of wanting to invite this kitten caused his brow to furrow. He doubted they were any threat currently.

"I feel as if you would make a fine addition," he rumbled. Maybe Romulus would come to dislike his decision, but he couldn't be too sure yet, given the details. For now, the young female seemed a lot like her mother: confident and reckless. Another Cipher wouldn't hurt. As long as it wasn't Caesar. With that thought in mind, his hues shifted to his sister, eying her curiously. "But that isn't up to me."

The sudden laughter that left her maw was startling at best. Her eyes glowed for a short moment in her mirth before she shook her head a bit. That was humorous to her and such a trivial thing to be afraid of one's life for. Pissing off Roxanne? That was a good time in her book, just like when she had stolen her brat and messed with his mind. It was well worth it. She doubted that the pirate would kill a child no matter what they said. Children were seen as precious to most groups but she could care less about kids at times. She liked to nibble on them after all if what she had done to that Palm Glades child was anything to go on. "We would stoop so low actually." She said suddenly and without hesitation as she looked at the kid. Romulus came next and she pulled her rounded ears back slightly.

No, no, she didn't have a reason to say no. As long as the girl was loyal. That was what mattered as she would murder a traitor with no remorse. A smile glided across her muzzle then before she nodded. "Welcome to the Coalition, Inferno. I hope you find your place here. And do mind your manners."

It seemed that they were in for a treat then. A new member was on their hands and Romulus couldn't help but wonder what mysteries Aphra's child held. Periwinkle eyes stared down at them. A soft hum left the lion, satisfied in her arrival, but cautious enough to keep an eye on things. "Welcome," he lowly rumbled. Confidence and rowdiness could cause a fuss. As Sojourn mentioned, Inferno was better off watching her manners. His firm nod only signified his agreement.

At the mention of Rhinestonestar and her comments, his gaze shifted to Aphra. A brow rose. "I see," came his subtle response. No acknowledgement from Aphra and blatant disrespect from Inferno was beginning to come together. Romulus was often not lost for words, but in the moment, he didn't want to acknowledge the situation. Disgust and second-hand embarrassment came to mind though. What a shame.
