Spring was on the horizon.  Somewhere.  A hope.  The scattered snow would melt.  The chilly sting in the air would go away.  Prey would return.  Her herbs could grow again outside of the temple's sanctuary.  Maybe the jungle would see some healing.  New growth.

Hopefully.

The petite deer-fox felt confident it would be soon enough.  Within the next moon perhaps.  And the splat of a raindrop on her nose made her lift her head.  Hazel hues blinking in surprise.  The water was cold.  Just as chilled as the air.  But not frozen enough to be snow.  Or ice.  A sign of the weather warming... If just barely.

Her wings shuffled at her sides as she squinted and scanned the sky through the canopy.  A canvas of gray clouds.  Aine twitched her nose as another droplet fell, scruntching her face and wincing at the chill.  But she didn't rush to find any shelter just yet.  Watching the sky as the rain begin to fall in full force.  Unable to stop the small smile on her face.  While she found snow entertaining for a short time... The childlike wonder it brought... She needed the rain.

It wasn't a secret that Dante didn't like the snow, even if it did remind him of a certain powdery substance. Snow itself, though, was much more irritating and not to mention, cold. It fucked with his internal clock, making him more lazier than usual due to being partially cold-blooded. 'Course, that didn't stop him from lashing out at Elsweyr, finding the adrenaline rush much more satisfying and it warmed his body up. But with that fight came the wounds that Aine wasn't allowed to help with and the cold also fucked with that.

Dante didn't seem to particularly care, though he did take Jormungand's advice on getting new cloth to replace the old ones he had on. That's what brought him to town in the first place, and he jumped a little when he felt a raindrop splash on his muzzle. "Holy shit!" He cried out in excitement, seemingly sharing Aine's happiness. "It's raining!" It felt great on his fur - much better than the snow, even if the raindrops themselves were a little cold. At least it wasn't hail or snow.[glow=COLOR,1,400]✧*:・゚[/glow]

A VIVSECTION OF ME - DONE BY GOD FOR ALL TO SEE!
Though with considerably thick fur the Marauder didn't particularly like snow. Especially when it came in droves during a blizzard that risked cold-snapping some of Aine's plants. Gentle pawsteps halted next to Aine as the drops tapped against her nose. White-and-cream smeared on her black furred face as she turned to face up. White-splashed wings shuffled and she let out a breath of shock. Rain. "Well I'll be damned." She chuckled. Aine and her would end up drenched at some point but the rain was too wonderful to run from.

| GAEL Ó BROIN
Although inconvenienced by the cold front dropping the winter into a frigid state, the vulpine felt confident it would thaw by the end of March -- spring possessed the capacity to be a volatile season, but he trusted the temperatures would rise again.

The drop of water on his nose pierced with icy fervor; less than the sting of snow or ice and captured his rapt attention.  When Gael had noticed the sky hung gray earlier, the prospect of more snow concerned him -- the rain offered a welcome change of pace, however cold it still remained.  Despite the content feeling, his hazel gaze locked on Aine and Kold with a level of concern; while entirely indifferent to Dante.

"It is still cold -- please take care not to catch hypothermia, you two." Cold rain was arguably more deceptive than snow in that regard and the faerie had no desire to see either girls suffering from the cold in such a way.
