I DON'T CARE WHO I MIGHT HURT ALONG THE WAY, I'M FUCKING SINKING
The last thing he wanted to do was start looking for a house or whatever it was they stayed in around here. That would make things seem more permanent, against his wants. He knew that Valianté was just looking out for him but he wished he would actually listen to him for once. But he would also be lying if he didn't say he was obedient to his father and his wishes too. The man had raised him on his own, rescued him from a false family and everything to keep him safe. Regardless he guessed that the old man was looking for some place suitable and so he had decided to do something else with his time. Making holes. Though he was also wondering if there was anything buried around here. The desert and stuff like that was always prone to treasures, books and legends always talked about it so why not give it a go.

He had spent the better part of the day digging to his hearts content. Marbled body covered in find grains of sand. A lot of the beach had holes now, some shallow and some deep. If someone wasn't paying attention they could end up tripping in one. But the borzoi didn't really think about that. Instead he was digging right now, throwing sand up behind him in furious waves that sailed through the air. Until he it something and an excited grin pulled across his muzzle. Scrapping claws he managed to pull the small box up out of the dirt and he sniffed, trying to detect what it could be.

Re: shaken not stirred - open; digging - Onyxdreams - 03-02-2021

~ ☼ When it came to searching for neat knick-knacks and cool treasures, Onyx considered herself a bit of an expert. She still remembered the first of her treasures that she had found, and to this day, it was still one of the stars of her quickly growing collection. It also had the honor of continuing to be the shiniest rock she had found to date, all white-blue and filled with all kinds of different colors, it was awesome! From there, she had gone on to continue searching day after day, whenever the weather allowed for it, digging through the more abandoned parts of the boardwalk, wherever she could get in the territory, especially the beach. In her experience, all kinds of cool things could be found out on the beach, washed up onto the shore, it was why it remained a hot spot for her to visit when she was looking to add to her collection.

Today was looking to be a little bit different than usual though, as she stepped further down the beach, crimson eyes locked onto the somewhat distant figure that was already digging around in her spot. No, more than that, they had been digging around all over the beach, there were holes everywhere! Stepping closer still, she could finally start to make out more features on the canine, and quickly realized just who it was, the kind-of rude guy who had recently joined with his dad. Seriously, she had just been trying to welcome him, but maybe he had just been in a really bad mood or something, travelling as far as they probably had would have made her more than a bit tired herself. Plus, she could see hints of a grin from where she was standing, something that became clearer the closer she got as he pulled something out of the ground and started inspecting it. Ohhh, had she found a fellow collector like herself? "Ohhh, nice find! So, whatcha think it is?" the hybrid called out as she finally drew close enough to get a good look at the box the guy with the complicated name had dug up.

[align=center][div style="font-family: arial; font-size: 12px; width: 310px; text-align: justify; line-height:120%"]When within a direct comparison to Onyx it proves an easily given fact that Foam was more basic in acquiring so called treasures, though they were less grandiose in his mind. Simple always preferred when those few times his exploration was geared to such. Easy his recall of when Sugarspice was located on the beach, in hand a basket, contents simple but pretty. It was this that began his fascination, the only one in truth, plucked from the sand smoothed fragments. Sea glass. That is what she had called it.

He would not discourage the other discen for such that seemed largely useless, a hypocrite if he ever did such though the want to question was there, what deemed each piece that seemed so useless worthy. Begrudging his admiration, in truth, in what he viewed as simple refuge she saw more. It was not his wish to follow her, though possibly it had been a secondary thought, a wish for company that drove him to step next to each print left in her wake, a perfect trail leading to a familiar place. A similar destination was all, he had no wish to join her, mend a bridge he had allowed to burn before construction may begin.

In a way Onyx was his sister, though blood was lacking their connection was through another, one he dearly wished to never disappoint as he had with his departure.

The notion was dashed when her voice arose, directed to another. Far had she walked, and thus had he, less populated this section, though such may be attributed to winter only recently letting go and allowing fishing to resume. Confusion touched briefly on his visage as he moved closer, unsure now. Gone was it with a misstep, the ground falling away, bitten off his surprised cry when contact with the ground was made. Shallow the hole, a rather good thing for the undersized domestic feline, briefly sprawled within as paws rubbed at his head. Not wishing to be stuck for any length of time Foam reached up, paws hooking over the edge, loose grains falling atop him as he scrambled out.

"What's the big idea with all…" Into silence his voice trailed, finally looked upon the one Onyx had directly addressed. Unlike the hybrid he had no prior instance of meeting him, unknown the poor behaviour resulting from homesickness and exhaustion, thus only curious was he. Closer did he step, forgotten his reprimand in favour of studying the canid, though his gaze, at irregar intervals, moved to the box. "Whoa, never seen somethin like that before." Quiet his comment, spoken beneath his breath as he moved closer, pressed down his desire to reach out and touch the box. Unknown would be the response and Foam bore no wish to be leaving the beach in a worse off condition.

Winnie had been trying to get used to everything with all the changes and all, he was too busy thinking over some things and was walking along the beach after having tended to his garden but he ended up tripping over a dug up hole in the beach. He let out a soft grunt as his chin met the sandy beach only to lay there for a moment having the most exhausted expression on his face, he rose to his paws with a soft sigh only to notice that there was a group of three over to the beach. He tilted his cranium to the side, the legate rising to his paws slowly with a slight shakiness in his steps considering the fall he had just taken recently. It seems that the younger members of the group had been treasure hunting or rather one of them when he realized that Sauvignon had a few grains of sand on his body, he rose slowly to his paws letting out a soft breath. The legate unable to stay mad at any of them, they were simply children with imaginative minds or just needed a form of distracting themselves.  "Hello there," He greeted with a warm smile present on his maw.

He lifted a paw to start shaking some of the sand from his arm after having fallen in one of the dug holes that Sauv had made. "I see you found yourself a treasure. Good on you," There was a pause as the leader would sit a short ways from the three as he continued with a small nod "I just hope that you would be a dear and fill in the holds after your little treasure hunting. I wouldn't want anyone else tripping or falling into them, after all." A soft purr left his maw.
