Foxgaze was no stranger to groups around the land of Beyond; she had her fair share of stories about them, though she didn't particularly care for any of the 'major' ones. The she-cat sought after a lesser-known group and, with the help of some NPCs that gave her vague directions, the she-cat made her way towards the Emerald Isles.

It wasn't hard to tell there was a border and as such, the feline took a seat and wrapped her tail neatly around her paws, awaiting someone to greet her.[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

A roar split the quiet as a crystalline wyvern landed near the border once he was alerted about a newcomer, his back claws hitting the ground as he folded his wings back as he leaned down to look at the new blood. He studied the flame point, his gold eyes narrowed and unreadable as he could crush the creature in his claws, but he held back from saying as such. Moonsong was tinier than him and could beat his ass as well as any creature the same size as him, "Greetings, feline. I am Nord, Baron of the Emerald Isles. What brings you to our humble mountains?" He rumbled as he tried to appear less intimidating.

Okay, the fact that a wyvern was flying towards her was a bit concerning, and Foxgaze watched with wide eyes as Nord flew, trying to determine if he was a friend or foe. Fortunately, Nord was at the very least passive at the moment and introduced himself and the group that Foxgaze had been searching for.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Nord." Foxgaze replied with a small dip of her head. "My name is Foxgaze, I was looking to join, if you would have me."[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

"Foxgaze." The wyvern rumbled, "You will be granted temporary membership until you can prove yourself in the Call of the Hunt. This time-honored tradition happens every couple of months, and you will prove your loyalty and prowess in this. You do not have to win the Hunt, but you must not die or be mortally wounded." Nord paused, thinking about how that sounded, "Not that you'd be cast out, but I would assume dying or being mortally wounded would defeat the purpose of the entire..."

The crystalline creature shook his head as if to clear it, "Until the next Hunt, you can travel anywhere within the borders. You will be unable to set up a shop unless you are a full member. You can begin training under a Guild, but you cannot graduate from it until you are a full member of The Isles." Nord hummed as he ticked off a couple more things from his mental list, "Besides those few things, you are able to what you like. If you have any questions, concerns, or even requests. You must ask me, I do not quite trust our...Priestess with anyone who does not have crystal descent. She is quite particular about bloodlines or even the amount of crystal/mineral on a person."

Okay, wow, that was... A lot to take in. But, at the very least, she was accepted, right? "Thank you." Foxgaze's words were soft, dipping her head in thanks and respect to Nord for accepting her into their group. She would prove herself eventually, she knew; how hard could it really be? What did catch her attention, though, was the mention of the Priestess, and she tilted her head as Nord spoke about her. "What's so special about the crystals or the crystal bloodline?" She asked, quietly adding to herself, Or whatever you called it. [glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]

"Well, centuries ago, there was a war between the current Baron and the Heavens." Nord shifted uneasily, "And, anyone who followed him into the war was cursed to have crystalline features, big or small, noticeable or unnoticeable. The curse follows bloodlines usually." The wyvern trailed off, dreading the next confrontation with Tourmaline, "Our Priestess is very...focused on them as she is in a high position. She isn't the only one, but she is the loudest of them."

The fact that the wyvern responded with such unease made Foxgaze intrigued more, her invisible eyebrows raising at the Baron's words. A powerful creature such as he, was seemingly afraid or at the very least, unnerved by the Priestess? That was certainly interesting to note. "I see." Foxgaze responded, giving Nord a small nod to show she understood. "I shall keep that in mind then, thank you."[glow=COLOR,1,400] ━ ✧*:･ﾟ[/glow]
