Everyone had their breaking points and she seemed to have met her's or perhaps she had long since extended past it till she was almost serene again. No matter, she was done with waiting like a poor helpless sheep within the frozen territory that they called home now. She wanted to make a move against the Typhoon and she was going to do so without anyone else's help. She had heard her place as a Warmonger among her people for a reason and she wanted her revenge. She wanted to stop the bleeding of her heart and watch theirs begin to drip. To see the pain in their gazes, the fear, the agony. The sweet revelation that there was nothing that they could have done to stop this from happening. But she needed a victim, she needed someone whom would cause that hurt and that pain. Any Typhooner would do in her mind and she didn't care whom she came across as she trailed through their territory. She was not met with force or aggression as she slinked along their jungle, leaving a trail of frost in her wake. The chill was coming, there was no way to stop it and she had plans to ruin them. A temple laid in her path and she eyed it for a moment, debating on if there would be anyone inside of it. The smell of herbal remedies circling her nostrils and she allowed herself a moment to close her eyes. Now was the time to move. Wouldn't mother be so proud of her?

She moved swiftly toward the temple, not bothering to muffle any sounds as she pushed through the doors. Her eyes landed on a child, white sclera slowly turning black as her gaze locked onto a child. A simple small and helpless child. He looked like he had a rough time already but his life was about to get some much rougher. A slow growl left her throat, a mocking purr as she took a few careful steps toward him. ''Looks like you were sleeping rather comfortably kid. Too bad the time for peaceful naps is about to end. I need you for something and well, if you don't come quietly I'll just have to bash your head in.'' She meant every word that she said as she began to move toward him with ill intent laced in every moment of her body. If he wanted to make this a sport for her, a game, then he could try to run. It would be thrilling to put him down against the ground and tear his skin.

The sound of paw steps was not alarming. They were normal. The pacing of the medics and temple-goers was a regular occurrence during his stay. Needless to say, Alexandre didn't bat an eye. His eyelids remained closed, tail curled between his paws, and his breath steady. The skinny kitten merely moved closer to the nesting material that kept him warm, letting out a soft huff of air as he did so.

As he settled in, the thump of a large animal's paws echoed in his ears and an unfamiliar scent met his nose. An frustrated grunt left him. Alexandre's head turned up. Weary, orange hues landed on Sojourn and panic flooded his system. He scrambled to his feet, standing up straight with claws unsheathed and teeth bared at his newfound enemy. His tail lashed furiously, warning her to come closer. He knew he couldn't defend himself, but his skinny stature would allow him to slip from her grip easily. Nevertheless, his deficient state would damn him. There was no energy for him to exude. Running would be an issue. Hiding was his best option.

His narrowed gaze momentarily shifted towards the entrance then towards the temple's shelves and beds. Thoughts raced in his head. Where to go? Where to hide? There was no time. "Then you're going to have to catch me first," came his growl. Then he was off. Like a dart, the boy shot off his bed and into the temple's corridor with his legs shuffling aimlessly below him. He was trying his best, but was he fast enough?

At his words her eyes and her smile upon her muzzle widened with pure delight. He had done the one thing that she had been hoping for. Making this a chase, a cat and mouse game. If anyone dared to intervene she would slaughter them to get to her prize. The moment he took off she waited a small second, to give him a headstart. A sense of false hope to well up within his chest that perhaps he would be able to get away. But a child was not faster than an adult, they were hardly close to it and she could see victory within her own future. She bolted after him then and her large paws unsheathed to scrap against the temple ground. Her eyes were dead set on her prize but she didn't attempt to stop him from where he was going for she wanted to see. Maybe even play with him a bit. Her tail twitched back and forth with intrigue before she suddenly allowed her muzzle to part on a cold breath. Ice traveled faster than she could run and it sped along the ground where moisture gathered. Time for a bit of a ride for the kid.

Ice would suddenly aim to form underneath the kid's paws and perhaps cause him to stumble and twist about on it. She was behind though and quickly catching up as she cackled a sharp and terrifying laugh. ''Come on kid, you've got to run faster or your demons will catch up with you.'' No one had yet proven that Sojourn, first child of Ninazu and Stryker was insane, out of her mind. But perhaps it was showing itself today. The worms that had burrowed deep and wiggled in her brain. For she was teasing a child about something that consumed herself. Her demons, her wants, her anger, she wanted to be better but they were always cackling at her. Teasing her about her father's death and how he fell from his throne. It. Was. Not. Fair.

Indecision festered in his head. Where to go? Escape or hide? Alexandre's paws flustered forward, ultimately deciding on his grand escape. He shot towards the temple's entrance but as he moved his paws his peripheral vision didn't change. The world grew to a still. His gaze shifted downwards in surprise, only to stumble on the ice that inhibited his movement. The boy toppled to the floor. A painful yelp left the feline as his fragile being collided with the ground, causing the crackle of bones beneath him.

His scramble forward on the ice was met with no movement. Pain only shot up his forsaken body. Eyes full of crocodile tears attempted to lock in on Sojourn, but she continued forward. "P-please... I didn't do anything," he pled. "I don't even know who you are..." Teeth grinding and eyes wide, he prayed for her mercy. It would not come.

The blue tinged lioness watched him fall, watched his limbs slip up on the ice. Twist and the sound of cracking. Something was obviously broken and she allowed a bit of amusement to wander through her gaze. Some would probably call her a coward for going after a child that was so much younger than herself. That she should have picked on someone her own size but she called this a strategic move to weaken her enemy, to make them emotional and for them to make the mistakes she was looking for. A soft humming left her throat as she stalked forward and looked down at him, crumpled. A fallen prince. Bemused at her words she slowly lifted a paw and aimed to press it down hard against his broken limb. ''Oh sweetie, you didn't. Of course not. But your betters did. They ruined everything with their selfishness, their self righteous and holier than though attitudes. They did this to you.'' She began with a soft and almost gentle tone. Slowly the whites of her eyes began to turn as black as night, the pastel pink of her irises become a deeper and richer pink as her muzzle curled into a smile.

''You don't know who I am. But after I'm done with you my name will be imprinted in that pretty little head of your's. Let's go, we've wasted enough time.'' With that she moved to remove her paw from his limb and her jaws parted to try and wrap around his body and none too gently either. If that worked she would twist toward the entrance of the temple and make head way toward the exit. After all what she had planned for the kid was something she knew she was going to have fun with. After all who didn't like a little bit of dinner?

A shrill cry exited his mouth as her weight pressed down on his leg. His teeth gritted together. He didn't do that. Why him? His tail lashed in dismay and his paws reached out, trying to escape from her grip, only to stay put as she continued her long-winded spiel. With heavy breathes and ears pinned to his head, he closed his eyes. 'They did this to you.' Tears dropped from his sockets as she pressed on. He didn't deserve this. They didn't need this burden. Alexandre wanted to deny his impending doom, but the sight of any hopeful light had faded into the dark.

With a choked gasp, jaws wrapped around his thin chest. Alexandre's head lowered into the air, dangling helplessly, and defeat swarmed over him.
