Rain tapped on the treehouse’s roof like little rat paws. On days like today—despite how common they were for the Typhoon’s tropical island home—the ocelot preferred to stay indoors away from the wet mess. She considered her treehouse a little island in the storm, a dry oasis above the waterlogged children and determined hunters. In her times of extreme isolation, the witch might spend entire weeks sequestered in her treehouse without even once setting paw on the land below.

As the ocelot stirred honey into her cup of tea, she decided today would be one of those days. Though she should be in the temple, bustling about with Roan's absence and herb supplies low, she wanted to stay here, in this little quiet place. The sage and chamomile tea was still warm, and she supposed she could finish, instead of letting the brewed tea go to waste. She sighed into a paw, tapped the spoon telekinetically against the cup, inhaled the delicate aroma, glanced at her Tarot card reading—

The door squeaked open. The rain had faded down to a drizzle, but she heard thunder rumbling in the distance. Perhaps it was the wind? Or the door simply needed to be replaced, she supposed. Regardless, she'd experienced too coincidences of the door opening right before a visitor appeared, and so Rosemary frowned and supposed her tea wouldn't save her from social interaction.

Her amber-orange eyes narrowed a tad suspiciously, but the witch knew a sign when she saw one. Rosemary sighed, forked tail flicking, and poured another cup of tea. Her smaller pair of eyes glanced at the Tarot cards, and she neatly slipped her personal reading back into the deck. When her visitor arrives, the door will be half-open.

Rosemary telekinetically shuffled her Tarot deck and poured herself a refill of tea as she waited.

PLANECRASH SLYS
The now much older tom had finally been let out of Roxanne’s home after having been practically starved to death by his own natural instincts failing him on his long travel back home to this little slice of tropical paradise that had become his only real home in life.  For once, his bag was laid aside as he rested his head on the window sill of his treehouse as the rain danced around the island so very gracefully as to never hit the foliage around them too hard. He sighed as his eyes swept around the familiar camp that had only changed ever so slightly since he had last been there all those years ago. Yes, it wasn’t the camp that had really changed....

It was the people.

Now, Planecrash was fully aware as he sat in the cell he had been locked him while doing experiments on his former boss’ enemies that after all this time, Roxanne was sure to have moved on and found someone else in life. Though, it worries him that it might be Greed or someone similar to the worthless man. Nonetheless, he would have no right to come back in and give her the ring he had made himself from scrap metals of his inventions and a pink pearl he had managed to find way back then. His paws flipped the tiny box open and close with each little memory that drifted in his mind that made his heart ache from the lose of such a wonderful woman. But, he would not be petty about it and make his dear friend feel bad for finding a beautiful (and intimidating) lady that made Roxanne all too happy. No, Plane was going to attend that wedding and cheer on this couple like nobodies business because their happiness is all that he wants for these two. He.....he had to....or else he might fall into that dark thinking.

A brief pause was held as the sound of the rain got into his head, flooding his thoughts with anxiety until he managed to shake his head, swatting the box for the engagement ring down to the ground and taking one of his bags to hurriedly cover up his features once again. The plane needed to clear his mind with a little walk and that is what he would do, scrambling out the door and getting his with the sea breeze mixed with the gentle smell of rain. “I keep myself in there, I’m just going to bring myself down. I’ll think about Roxie and then I’ll think about my son and.....I won’t take that many pills again. I can’t.” The scientist muttered to himself as he made his way along the path that connected all the treehouses, his fur occasionally being hit by a few small drips of rain from the leaves above as he continued on his little path. That is, until a slightly open door and the roll of thunder made him focus on one home in particular. The ginger tom’s nose twitched as he moved around to side of the door to peek inside, just in case someone may have been hurt or simply forgot to close it. Instead, he only saw a floating deck of cards and tea being poured on it’s own with out the feline accompanying this scene touching them in the slightest.

How.....are you doing that?

The witch turned to face her visitor, her four eyes looking around him, but never quite directly at Planecrash’s eyes. She waved a paw, glancing at the open door, as she added, “You’re standing in the rain, letting the damp into my home, and you ask me about my magic? You should at least come in and dry off first.” She huffed and smirked with an amused twinkle in one of many eyes.

“It’s magic, of course. Not everyone has magic—I certainly don’t have all types of magic, either—but mine is interesting, isn’t it?”
