With how long she has lived and the many creatures she fought against in her life, she found out pretty quickly she was a pretty powerful dragon, an "Alpha" of sorts. But finding herself in a group where dragons were plentiful and sometimes rowdy, she realized she had to establish dominance again. She flew out from the mountain, wing-beats slow and methodical.

Landing within the wastes, it didn't take long for a challenger to approach. A similarly large and darkly colored behemoth, eight eyes scattered on it's face, two powerful wings, talons that were bloodied from a previous hunt. Muscular - possibly another female. The opponent screamed, flaring their wings. Cherna, having already done this three times now, simply watched, sitting down.

After the dragon screamed, Chernabog reared up and opened her jaws in a mighty and loud screech, causing the other dragon to recoil. Black wings spread wide, yellow-green fire flickered from her mouth and she screeched. After her display she dropped down onto all fours, letting out a snort. Night blue scales shimmered in fresh shed, iridescent in the sunlight.

Instead of leaving the other dragon snorted back, and so the stand-off began, though Cherna easily stood taller than the beast by a few feet. They waited for one of them to make a move, so they seemed frozen in time.
