A blanket of dark clouds lingered across the desert and jungle. A growing shadow that the Ardent observed with creased brows -- in the year he had been with the Pitt, he had only seen the occasional rainstorm. Specifically, the jungle received the most precipitation.

Gael hardly considered himself an expert in the matters of weather, but he knew well enough. The desert would see bouts of rain from time to time, but this felt like an oncoming storm. I suppose it is the time of year for it.

It would be best, he decided, to utilize the calm before the storm and organize a hunting party. Moreover, he imagined some still felt restless after the raid -- eager to put paws to more work.

"If there are any who would like to accompany me on a hunting patrol, I am about to head out."

The pittian hadn't experienced a true rainfall in a good while. Back when Kold was a single soul in their body and with a loving mother and caring father, they.. she had experienced a thunderstorm. These grey clouds were similar, but not similar enough to seem frightening, if anything, any rain would cool down their body, which was already beginning to rise in body temperature, even after the raid.

hearing Gael's call, the new pittian would soon show up, a thin frown upon their face. Their pet hadn't been seen in a long while, so it was possible that the boa left after Kold simply wasn't around. Still, the distant mix was a bit upset. "We can join." They said gently, frown lifting into a small smile.
