A 10-foot tall crystal wyvern floated from above the Empire Den, most likely coming from the Tiger's Pool to the Spinel Plaza. He landed his claws onto the huge platform above the Plaza, and boomed, "We have opened our borders once again to new blood. If any shall object, stand down. We have had less of Commonfolk since our last Baron launched our last attack on JADE 11 months ago, we still mourn the loss of our own." His smoky scales and crystals glittered dangerously as he swung his huge head, his gold eyes sweeping over the crowd that gathered, lucky that the Counsel sent out letters a week before about there being a meeting to all the citizens, "We must regain our strength and number before we take on one of the Gods or Goddesses again, so I will appoint a new apprentice to train under our Counsel and to a lesser extent, me." His gold eyes, stark against the top of his head, the top made of crystal, tried to pick out the new apprentice of the Counsel, "Pawn will be one of our apprentice's training to take over a Counsel position. Treat him well." The threat hung in the air.

"Is there any other business I must address?" he asked the crowd.

"If there is no other business to bring to attention," the crystal wyvern paused, "I will go ahead and announce that we will be beginning the Call of the Hunt on Sunday and it will go until next Sunday. There will be a single announcement tomorrow that will explain all the rules and what will be going on for the next week. If there are any questions, I will be here at Spinel Plaza for the rest of the day for any questions about the Call of the Hunt festival, for any questions about what is going on, and any important business that needs to be brought to mine and the Counsel's attention." He huffed for breath, his glittering scales blinding as he stretched and began to get comfortable on the platform as he prepared for questions and the sort; Nord splayed his wings out, conscious of keeping the undersides hidden.
